Works perfectly in older digital SLR camera
I own a 2002 vintage Fujifilm / Nikon Finepix S2 Pro. This has a CCD 6 megapixels sensor. This camera will accept 1 GB or 2 GB Compact Flash (CF) cards but not higher capacity CF cards. As soon as I installed this card the camera came to life and I was able to take some beautiful film-like images. No problem loading the pdf files into my picture processing application. So I can recommend this card for use in this specific camera.

Great CF Card!
I'm not an electronic genius, but I know what works! And this CF card definitely does! It has a large amount of memory, and works perfect in my MPC 5000! I'm sure it works just as good for any other device that supports CF card memory? You can't go wrong with this one. So what are you waiting for? Buy it without a doubt!

Good Price (I use it in my camera)
I ordered this product on Amazon hoping it would arrive soon. However, the product never arrived (I had waited a few days after the last estimated arrival date). I canceled my order and instead bought it on Newegg at a better price. When it came, I popped it into my camera right away; I use a Rebel xt. I bought it because I needed another CF card with more memory and a faster speed. I don't make too much so I found this to be the best price out there- the price is unbeatable. It's been good to me (had it for about 2 weeks), and I have not regretted my decision one bit.

has not performed exactly as expected
I purchased this Transcend 2GB CF133 card to keep an older DSLR in service, and it has not performed exactly as expected. The build quality feels solid, and the card slides in and out of the slot smoothly without any looseness. Read and write speeds are not consistent with the 133x rating—fast enough for still photography but continuous shooting will have you waiting for writes to the CF card. I did a side-by-side comparison using a known brand name 133x CF card and it was repeatably 2.8x faster than the Transcend card at normal write speeds using compressed files. While I appreciate reliability, the card has however handled multiple shoots without a single error, and the built‑in error correction gives added peace of mind when working with irreplaceable images. At 2GB, the capacity is modest by today’s standards, but it’s ideal for photographers who prefer smaller, manageable file batches or need compatibility with cameras that don’t support larger cards. Overall, this is a dependable CompactFlash option for anyone maintaining older DSLRs or camcorders. It doesn’t exactly live up to its stated speed claim but does appear to provide a stable experience. I would rate this as an average 3 star due to not holding up to the claim of being a 133x device.

Works with Windows 7 and PCMCIA adapter
I work in the networking field and have to sometimes use CF cards in my laptop for moving files from my PC to a network device or something else that either doesn't support USB or has USB disabled for security. Anyway, I've tried other CF cards that were not properly recognized in my laptop using the PCMCIA adapter. For example, a 4GB card was reading 10MB and a 1GB card was doing the same. This card works great and it reads the full 2GB. I wanted to go with the 4GB card, but I wasn't sure if it would be properly recognized based on what I've read about the PCMCIA being a 16 bit adapter and limited to 2GB of address space. I'd be curious to know if anyone has tried a >2GB card with a PCMCIA adapter.

Olympus C-2500L and Canon Pro1
This Transcend CF card has worked with both my Olympus Camedia C-2500L and Canon PowerShot Pro1. Had a couple hiccups with the Pro1 and I'm not sure why. The card's three years old now and it sat unused for one of those years. That may be some of it along with the cameras I'm using being a little older, too. Have taken several thousand pictures and videos using this same single card now. The tailend of the card that keeps getting written on then deleted to make room for more has absolutely taken a beating and yet still keeps on functioning to my satisfaction. Would have no problem purchasing something from Transcend again if it was in the right price range for whatever I was seeking.
