I've Used These Phones for Years
This is the phone I have used in my home office for years. It gets ALOT of use. My old set gave me many years of great service before it gave out. Love my new phone and earpiece!

Love it!
My wife loves using the headset piece whenever she and her mom talk on the phone. Great for being on the phone for a long time! No having to hold the phone!

Love the hands free and Bluetooth to add to my cellphone
The only item I don't like is the keys don't stay lite up while using it. I do like that I can add it to my cellphone so I never miss an important call. Plus I love the headset. That way my hands are free to clean, cook, do laundry or write without my neck getting kinked.

Awesome Phone!
I work from home and have always used Panasonic Phone systems. I have always been disappointed with their quality. I use hands free and the sound was subpar. I tried to pair a headset it said it was compadible with and it would never pair. So frustrating to say the least.I didn't want to spend the money on a new system but I had no choice. I am so glad I spent the money!!!!It was so easy to set up and my customers can finally hear me. The hands free head set is amazing! I prefer the over the head option for the headset, it is so comfortable and adjustable. It does give you the option of the earhook which I might try out. They give you a total of 4 replacements just in case it breaks.Overall, I can't find anything negative to say about this system. Life in the office just got easier!

OK, but not great.
I may return this, I haven't decided yet. Before I start I will say, i don't use the cell phone/bluetooth part of this. For context, I work from home. it isn't uncommon for me to spend several hours per day on the phone. Most of it with my business partner as we discuss workload, action plans etc.My main reason for buying this was because it came with a headset. I'm converting from a sip phone system (Cisco SPA 525g) and an ungodly expensive Plantronics headset (the headset cost 3 times more than this entire VTech system)I've found the range on the headset and phone to be great and more than enough to walk anywhere in my house, including the garage and out the perimeter of my yardThere are a few things i dislike but overall i'm currently on the fence. There are some pretty fundamental things that should be reviewed. For one, the buttons being flush mount just seems odd. I guess they're trying to give it a look like a touch screen but I don't want that. I like separated, raised buttons. Just a whiny complaint I know. The headset works well, I'll have to follow up with discussion on talk time, i haven't used it enough yet, but believe me I will. I'm not thrilled about the way it fits in my ear. i can't get it secure. One issue I have is the phone book. They really missed the mark with this. It's awful. it takes forever to scroll back and forth (excuse me, up and down). and if you use the keys to find an entry, it pauses for a very long time before it searches for the entriesPROS:Range is greatPhones hold charge for a long timePhone book is centralized (enter once and it propagates to all handsets) Though this could be a CON for a multi person familyVolume on headset is very good.CONSbuttons are flush, it sounds silly but it's annoying.Charge light is dimon screen display text is thin and very small. reminds me of something from the 90sBacklight is dim and I can't find a way to change itMute button on headset is in very awkward positionButton for headset is hard to find while wearing.Phone Book is painful to scroll. they really need more power in this thing. it's very crude

Beware the bad after sales service and the attachment for the power plug
So I bought this unit in 2020 and it worked fine for about a year and the adapter for the main unit suddenly died on me. I couldn't get a replacement elsewhere the unit main unit's adapter uses a non standard plug telephone jack to be plugged into the main unit to power it up. So I emailed VTEC for advice and after asking if I could buy a replacement from them. This is the answer from them."Thank you for your response.VTech products are warranted and intended for use in the United States, its territories, and Canada. For this reason, we cannot guarantee functionality of our products when connected to foreign telephone networks or used with an AC adapter other than the one supplied by VTech, or with a power converter. Furthermore, warranty, sales and technical support are not available for products used or purchased outside of the regions listed above."So after not using the phone for more than 2 years, I decided to get another adapter and patch the wire to the plug. I finally got it working and decided to get a replacement battery for my headset. I messaged the company via their Facebook page about the battery and I still have not gotten any response after 5 days. This company is totally unprofessional and you should avoid buying anything from them. You will end up with an expensive paper weight if you are not able to get replacement parts.

Blocking Ability
Okay, so phone is fine. I knew what I was buying. Price fairly reasonable. I am so disappointed that no phone arrive seems to be able to provide the few of us…who would appreciate a wireless phone with a belt hook and a headset phone jack. Panasonic used to, but voice was too low, and the phones had problems, and longevity was not there. The Bluetooth…I don’t care for it. The other set up was more private, and handy. I wish the companies had that niche for those of us who appreciated it.In addition…the call blocking feature. What is 20 phone blocking? Some of us get that amount in three days. One person said he doesn’t get that many calls to block…BUT…some of us do get that many annoyance calls/spam calls…and we truly would wish to block those. I guess our technology isn’t there yet.I like this phone better than the one I mentioned above, but it would be grand if it had the features I described.
