Love it
I had over 200 cables to identify. I bought this as a replacement to the one I already had, and it works great! I have an experience any false readings, and was able to identify all of the cables in a timely matter and get everything labeled correctly. I definitely recommend this product, not to mention it was a great price!

Does the job
I have a lot of ethernet hubs and this item has been handy for tracing the multitude of cables running around the house.

Surprised
These work pretty well. I've used them in a network closet that was mess and they identified the wire I was looking for no problem. I think these will work for most. Probably best for those who use a toner occasionally. Someone who uses them every day may want to spring for a better quality toner.

Too much interference
After using this for a few weeks, mostly to trace cable, I realised that feature is very lacking. The other features are fine but trying to trace all my cables give way too much feedback. Even just touching the emitter (with your bare hands) gives of signals when not needed

Just what I needed
Moved into a new home and I had no clue which wall ports connected where. This product is intuitive to use and very convenient. Worked right out the box and I mapped out the whole house in 10 minutes.

Inexpensive, but not ‘cheap’
I needed a toner as I was tracing network cabling in my 2 story home. This tool is exactly what I needed to not only tone, but to test continuity on existing lines. I was able to install an open network rack in my closet above the door and pull lines down the wall like a pro, identifying each cable going to keystone jacks in our office using this tool. I’d highly recommend this!
