PERFECT for my AP1!!!! Read On...
If you have an AP1 S2000 and are looking for a boot retainer, I hope sharing my experience helps your journey... The big names didn't work out: I tried both Acuity's boot collar (spec'd for AP1), and the Hybrid Racing boot collar (NOT spec'd for AP1, but fits nonetheless)... Both brands emit an obnoxious rattle at mid to high RPM use, especially in VTEC and during in-gear decel. The Hybrid unit was significantly noisier and much more often as there's no dampening between their machined surfaces and inner ball bearings. The Acuity unit was quieter overall, as they employ some grease and an o-ring internally. While those measures help, there are still some RPM frequencies where rattles rear their head. It's important to note that the source of the rattle comes down to the higher levels of NVH the S2000 transmission emits through the shifter assembly compared with other Honda models. This causes these boot retainers to rattle as they are 2-piece designs, featuring a retainer nut that snaps into an outer collar. So I decided to try a one piece unit and see if I can get it to work... So what about this Aramox unit? There's no marvel of engineering here... And to be frank, it's as simple as a machined piece can get. It appears to be nicely anodized, but again, nothing special. It's a bit bulky in your hand upon first impression when compared to the Hybrid and/or Acuity, but it's also extremely inexpensive. Being a one piece design, I had anticipated that this would be really difficult to secure down with its retaining screws after the boot has already been banded to it. The reason you'd need to secure the collar down in a perfect position is so that once you tighten down your shift knob, the shift gate pattern will face the direction you want. That's the real challenge. So I went ahead and secured my leather boot to this retainer with their included band. Then I loosely slid the boot and collar over my shifter without bothering to install the retaining screws yet; the collar loosely sat right where the shifter widens out in diameter. Then I wanted to see how the gate pattern of the shift knob would end up naturally if I just threaded it on and tightened it down by hand. Well, I did NOT expect it to be almost perfect, but it was. Say you want the GEAR 4 indicator to be at the 6 o' clock position, well, it ended up at about 5 o clock when I hand tightened it down... At this point, the collar itself had barely any play, so I didn't anticipate any rattling issues, but I still wanted that gate pattern to be perfect. So I put on a nitrile glove and that provided enough grip to give the knob a good enough twist to land the gate pattern in the perfect position! After about 30 miles of driving, and several trips to redline including in gear deceleration, I can confirm that there are no rattles! In fact, it's not possible to have a rattle as this boot retainer is now VERY snugly sandwiched between the shifter and the shift knob. Please note that this part is universal in nature, so your results may vary... but if you're an AP1 owner with the Titanium accessory knob from Honda like me, this turned out to be the PERFECT solution!

Had to bore inner hole, works great now.
This would not slide onto my 2010 Scion xB (only fits over the threads). I spent a couple hours with a round file, and now it fits.

I was confused how to instal it when I first got it but once I figured it out it was easy and works rly well. Only issue I had with it was it was a bit wide so it was flush with the shift boot

Product quality’s great, but mine arrived with scratches because it’s not enough separate in packages from the bolts and wrench. It’s like 2-3 millimeters wider (on each side) than a m10 x 1.25 tread pitch shifter lever so i’ll not even try to bolt it. I’ve buy something else.
