405-ECO WiFi

Just got this (405-poe) and did “bench test” as they call it (testing before actually mounting) and the picture quality, ptz, night vision and the best thing zoom are just amazing. I had ycams before and this is simply another class. Again you are paying much more but its nice to see the quality differential shine through. Will update once I mount but for now here are some other points. Packaging - well packaged in what looks like OEM box - nothing fancy with a few stickers indicating its the model number and brand. The weight is surprisingly light and was worried about the materials used but upon inspection the case is metal and so is the bracket which again is very light. Have read reviews that this model compared to the 605 is the one to go for as its so much more lighter and compact. This for me means load on your wall or wherever you out it will not put so much stress. Again inside the box the unit is secured well however would have liked foam instead of cardboard to protect unit as delivery men love to play american football with the packaging they deliver - but again looked like no damage. Attaching the bracket felt slightly worrying as the pre made holes in the bracket are expected however they dont go into any holes in the camera! They just tighten through compression i.e pressing against the metal model (scraping the metial body). There is a lip where the screw falls under (the main body when you start tightening) which creates a link if you like but it just didnt feel right, however when you tighten the bracket does hold. Again wish holes in the unit were pre made to create more of a bond as you dont want this unit falling down! Am i worried - no- but again would have liked this done better (no instructions to fit but no need for them as obvious) Second bench test - this was difficult as I dont have a random bracket that I can hang this from as the picture in the manual was indicating. Tried many things before wife told me not to be stupid and that I dont want this thing falling from whatever place I was trying to use. Eventually I left it in the packaging on the floor but elevated so the dome coukd move around. The test meant I was looking at my ceiling or wall upside down but hey you do what you need to! Again as mentioned amazing quality and the zoom is out of this world. Other points: You are provided with a 12v dc adapter to test before poe and this did come with a small uk adapter unlike what some reviews were saying. The default password on the box says “none” this does mean the letters “n-o-n-e” but leave the box empty!! As in no password required as default (do then set one). I tried for 20 min trying to spell “none” corectly in case I was making a mistake to be told my password is “error” (poor english translation) then thought let me try “error” (yes you do stupid things when frustrated). Overall very impressed and excited to mount. The instructions are poor and am only relying on them 50% so please ensure you are prepared to research and also know a bit about networking. Will update once I mount!!

But techie to setup but once working, really great. Only think I’d say is an issue is not knowing what all of the settings actually do. It really is comprehensive and after much playing I’ve got fantastic day and night pictures (this is the 4th type of ip cam I’ve used) that far surpass anything else I’ve used. The zoom during the day is quick and very good quality, smooth and stable. On a night the reach of the full IR is incredible. Strongly recommended if you have the technical skills to get the best from it. Test : Do you know what POE version your hub is ? If the answer is yes, your probably the right type of customer to make the most of this camera. Otherwise, get someone to install it or make sure you learn before putting it outside.

Purchased in July 2020 to replace a 4-year-old fixed Hikvision camera which died. First month all was extremely promising. Great night vision, responsive PTZ and worked very well with my QNAP surveillance station. Then the problems started. During heavy downpours the camera started to occasionally mist up, followed by intermittent night vision issues where the whole screen would have a purple tinge. During these issues I had no help from Sunba. Finally, during the run up to Christmas, the PTZ stopped working and the camera has completely stopped working. Considering the cost of this camera the quality and service is extremely poor. It lasted 5 months. Ironically, two of the old Hikvision cameras have died so I’m now looking to purchase three new PTZ cameras. These will definitely not be Sunba cameras.

Very disappointed with purchase. Did return to Amazon for refund, thankfully. Bad camera sensor and megapixel ratios. User interface dreadful. IR beams inadequate. Absolutely everything about this PTZ is very poor. High price paid should provide a more premium product.

Very good picture quality. It’s working well over a very long ethernet cable, using a Sunba POE Injector. After quite a long time, I had an issue with picture quality, but, tech support were really persistent and helpful, especially Ksyusha Sun. I wouldn’t have solved the problem without them.

This is my third Sunba PTZ camera since 2017. The quality keeps improving with each generation, while the price has actually gone down. Excellent value for money.

I bought two of these cameras for a home CCTV setup. They were fairly cheap outdoor PTZ cameras that are compatible with a QNAP NAS, which runs my surveillance software. For the price, you get a camera that produces a very clear image. At night, image quality remains good. The IR lights light the image evenly. There is good contrast in the highlights and shadows. White faces are not overexposed at night, which is especially important if you want to recognise who's wandering around your house at night. The camera is not built from the most heavy-duty materials, but it is built well. There are no obvious defects and the camera is sturdy enough. The only thing missing is a built-in microphone. There is an audio-in plug, which I tried, but the sound quality was useless. The software situation is dire, however. To fully configure the camera and have access to all its features (e.g. adjusting the camera's name and timestamp watermarks), you are going to need a Windows PC that still runs Internet Explorer 10 and install several plugins for Explorer. Software written in the last 10 years tends to be too secure to work with the camera's software. At the time of writing, it is still possible to do this, but it will get harder as you update your computers. It does not look as though this situation will change any time soon. Sunba's website is outdated as well with, at the time of writing, several broken links in the download section. Sunba needs to recruit some software engineers or allow their current ones to retrain. Software systems have moved on since 2010.

J'ai acheté un Sunba 405-D20X, reconditionné, à un très bon prix. Il s'agit d'une superbe caméra IP, avec zoom 20X, 1080p et PoE ou une alimentation 12V peut être utilisée. La qualité d'image est nette et le passage à l'IR s'effectue à des niveaux de lumière très faibles. La nuit, dans l'obscurité totale, l'image IR est également d'une netteté remarquable. Le support client de Sunba est tout aussi impressionnant, dans mon cas géré par Ksyusha Sun, qui est un crédit et un atout pour Sunba. J'avais besoin de conseils pour savoir si ce modèle prendrait une carte TF (microSD) et il s'avère que certains modèles plus anciens n'avaient pas de fente TF, mais le numéro de série du mien indiquait que le mien en avait un et en effet, il était facile de retirer l'arrière panneau, et après une minute de recherche, réalisez que la fente était accessible sans retirer le bloc optique et bien que mes doigts soient trop tronqués, une paire de pinces à angle droit a permis à la carte d'être insérée via le côté supérieur du dos de l'objectif unité. Le logiciel pour Mac OS est moins impressionnant et ne semble pas natif Mac, probablement écrit pour PC et corrigé. Les menus sont pas intuitifs et sont dynamiques. Je n'énumérerai pas tous ce que je considère comme ses défauts, sauf peut-être le plus important. La caméra n'écrira pas ses fichiers vidéo sur le disque dur d'un Mac, sauf si vous êtes en mesure (et êtes prêt à) accorder des privilèges de lecture et d'écriture à tout le monde. Si vous laissez la cam entrer, vous laissez entrer quelqu'un. En tout cas, je n'ai pas pu modifier ces privilèges dans le tout dernier système d'exploitation, même en suivant les instructions d'experts pour le faire dans le terminal. Mais vous pouvez télécharger les fichiers du TF, qui sont au format .h264, c'est-à-dire non lisibles par VLC mais qui peuvent être convertis par handbrake. L'application se bloque régulièrement et ne peut pas être utilisée pour fonctionner toute la nuit. C''est pas un bouchon d'exposition, l'appareil photo a son propre processeur et suit les instructions déjà données. Il existe une interface Web, mais étonnamment de nos jours, ne fonctionne qu'avec IE, qui, d'un point de vue de la sécurité, est primitif sur le plan medieval. Il y a une application iOS mais j''en dirai rien car il n'y a rien à dire à part "primitive". Conclusion: Matériel excellent Logiciel médiocre Excellent support client

Wir haben die Sunba 405- D20X PoE Kamera jetzt seit Ende März im Einsatz und sind sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt. Die Bildqualität ist besonders hervorzuheben, da selbst im 20X Zoom-Modus sehr gute Bilder erzeugt werden. Außerdem ist die Kamera sehr schnell steuerbar. Leider war die Einrichtung auf der QNAP-NAS schwierig, aber der Sunba-Support konnte uns gut weiterhelfen. Die Kamera ist des weiteren gut verarbeitet, was meiner Meinung nach auch schon am Gewicht erkennbar ist. Somit gehe ich stark davon aus, dass die Kamera noch lange gute Dienste leisten wird.

Telecamera perfetta, si è praticamente istallata da sola sia su PC che su cellulare. Immagini fantastiche. Prodotto eccellente!
