Great, does it's job
One of if not the best to take care/season cast iron. I use Lodge skillets (Amazon has them - probably the best value you can get for lifetime good cooking items) for cast iron inside but not that often so this is important for storage and it's all you need for perfect seasoning care. It's also great for cast iron grill grates like on Weber etc. I used it to season my Hexclad stuff too. Works and easy to do. One bottle is plenty for a long time. Low cost, super product to care for your cooking/grilling investments for a lifetime.

Works great.
I used the walrus oil on an old Rusty cast-iron frying pan as directed. The results were great.

Great product, horrendous cap design!
This is genuinely great oil for your cast iron stuff! Pros: 1.) It coats well and is very smooth. 2.) Low to no odor. 3.) It has a high smoke point, so it won’t fill up your kitchen with oily smoke! 4.) Easy to hold bottle; it’s small enough to easily use one handed, without risking dropping a massive bottle of oil, especially after using it. Cons: 1.) The cap design is horrendous. Its wide mouthed and open, which causes the oil to spill out all over the cap and down the bottle. It’s a slight waste and you have to clean the bottle up every time. Not the first time a big mouth has gotten me in trouble… Other than that, it’s good stuff and top notch!

Great Product
This has been the best oil for our cast irons and does not smoke. This is a repeat purchase.

Great for sealing cast iron
My 2 cast iron pans were in bad shape. I thoroughly scrubbed and cleaned them, then sealed them twice following the directions on the back. They are even better than new, now! I even made scrambled eggs on my smaller one without much sticking at all. Very easy to use and likely will last a very long time if you maintain your cast iron pans properly.

Vitamin E can be dangerous
I do homeless outreach where we sometimes hand out hand santizer. We specifically have to get brands that do not contain Vitamin E because people often burn it to start fires, and Vitamin E is dangerous when inhaled. If you are working with high temperatures, I would not recommend this product, as it does explicitly say it contains this chemical. Even putting aside temperature issues, Vitamin E can cause an allergy in some people.

I opened up my oil today to season my freshly cleaned cast iron pans. When I removed the lid, I found the safety seal on the bottle had been tampered with. There was only a ring of the safety seal left around the lip of the bottle. The entire centre of the safety seal had been removed. Now I am not confident of the integrity of the product in the bottle and refuse to use it for satefy reasons :-(
