I've had both bunions operated on (one at a time) and unless shorts are warn most trousers do not have wide enough legs to accommodate the diameter of the boot or plaster. These trousers are perfectly made for this purpose. The material is excellent, quite smooth with a very soft feel and I'm writing this in the colder months, cosy and warm. I think they've gauged it so you won't feel too hot during the Summer either. They look very smart and many people have commented on them. These trousers are available in different sizes.

We bought these pants to help facilitate diaper changes for my elderly father, who has dementia and had a stroke. They are much easier to put on than regular pants and don't depend on the person's cooperation/ability to lift their feet when putting on or removing them. They are a bit pricey, but we are hoping they are relatively durable. Unlike others, we haven't found the snap fasteners to cause any issues (except for the fact that my father sometimes starts fiddling with them). We also like that they are fleece lined inside, so they are warmer than some of the others we have seen. We have now purchased several pairs (and also the short version for warmer weather). I highly recommend them for others with similar caregiving needs.

After surgery one leg is locked straight in a bulky splint - these were very useful and easy to put on. Quite warm, note no fly for mens wear.

These are great pants ordered size large, hubby has an artificial leg and he says these are quite easy to get in and out of. He really likes the snaps on them. how comfortable they are and the material is warm for the winter months.

I am a 5'6" woman who weighs 150 pounds. I am recovering from major leg and knee surgery after an accident. Everything I read indicated I should get extra large, but they were WAY too big!! This is unisex. Large was what I normally would have bought, but everyone said in order for it to fit over your brace, you need to go a size up. The extra large was massive. It has a drawstring so they don't fall down, but I had to tie it up about 3 inches above my waist. I wore them twice, and then decided to re-order, this time getting a large. It works much better. If I didn't have the brace, I could probably wear a medium, but the large is doing the job. The pants themselves are very comfortable, and I was getting tired of wearing skirts.

I had a total knee replacement and these snap pants are the game changer. For the first week or so, my knee barely moved. I could unsnap the wrapped knee side and do my business. Then just snap them back. I have a zipper pair also but felt this was easier to work with.
