What kind of plastic are these? pla, abs, or pteg?

PLA, ABS or PTEG ain't going to cut it I'm afraid. While the bags are PTEG, the Rackstuds are made of Grivory, a metal replacement plastic often found in car door handles and wiper blade arms.

Which version of rackstuds will fit the startech 4u 19" desktop open frame rack?

Sadly the holes on some of the Startech racks are too small for Rackstuds. Search Google for our post on this using Rackstuds and Startech as the keywords. You could try a sample pack that has both sizes/colors to test first if you like.

are the samples the same quality materials as the actual 100 Pack ? Or they are just guide for figuring out the sizes

Thanks for your question. The samples are production parts and fit for field use. They just contain both sizes/colors along with eight nuts; four in black and four in turquoise so you can determine which size fits your rack best. In saying that, the new Series II Maroon studs fit 70~80% of the rails in the market.

any reason why I should use the yellow lockwasher? It's hard for me to get them close together when I use those

Yes, because it's designed to hold the Rackstud in an open position so it doesn't fall through the hole. Just insert the Rackstud, place the yellow lockwasher on the correct way with the little extra bit facing the rack/Rackstud, mount your gear and then tighten the screw. It will force the little yellow bit in place. If you can't tighten it enough by hand use a screwdriver the first time to ensure proper seating of the yellow lockwasher.

Cómodo, rápido y práctico

Por fin un sistema para trabajar en racks sin dejarte las uñas y los dedos y pudiendo trabajar uno solo sin ayuda: colocas los cuatro Rackstuds del dispositivo que quieras montar en el rack, insertas el dispositivo y ya sólo tienes apretar las "tuercas" de cierre sin hacer malabarismos sujetando el dispositivo. Ahora ya sólo falta que bajen de precio y adiós a los tradicionales tornillos con tuerca de rack.
