Super Easy to Read!
This Sharp Atomic Clock is fantastic! The jumbo 3" numbers make it incredibly easy to read from across the room—perfect for anyone with vision issues or just wanting clear visibility. I love that it automatically sets itself with atomic accuracy—no more fussing with time changes or daylight saving adjustments. The indoor/outdoor temperature display is a great bonus. {i purchased it really only because of this option...} The wireless sensor was easy to set up and gives me accurate outdoor temps without stepping outside. The gloss black finish looks sleek and modern, blending in nicely with any decor. If you're looking for a dependable clock that you can set up once and forget about, this is the one. Highly recommend for home, office, or even a gift!

Easy to read, cool display
This clock was easy to set up, easy to read and I really like all the display options including having an outside temp sensor. My only complaint is that the "atomic" part wouldn't work when I set it up. It wouldn't automatically set and outside temp was wrong i had to reset a million times and even left it overnight like it says and it still wouldn't set atomically, so I finally had to set it manually. It's been good sine then and the outside temp seems pretty accurate so I'm good but was initially unhappy with it not setting itself automatically at first. To say it sets itself by the atomic time and "never needs setting" is a lie, sorry. I was very frustrated with it at first cuz it didn't set itself by the atomic clock I had to set it.

Very Disappointed!
I bought this after the atomic clock that I had had for 17 years stopped displaying the outside temp. The Sharp clock is fine--when it decides to work. I have only had it for a couple months (if that), and I have had to reset it twice. The first time the temp sensor was working, but the clock and calendar were way off. I tried to reset it manually, but it was so difficult and frustrating that I removed the batteries an put it away for a couple weeks. When I brought it out again and let it reset itself overnight, it worked fine--for a little over a week. This time, not only was the calendar off, but for some reason the temp sensor wasn't working either. I had put brand new batteries in it when I first got it, but I replaced them just to make sure it wasn't the batteries that didn't work. No luck. So...I removed the batteries and put it away again. I'll bring it out it in a couple days and try it again. If it doesn't work this time, it is going in the trash. I don't need the frustration! Incidentally, my 17-year old clock has never needed to be reset, and, aside from the temp sensor not working, it's still going strong!

Not looking too good on the first day. Will update review soon.
I wanted to upgrade our LaCrosse unit to something a little larger, and easier to read at a distance. From the online dimensions, this Sharp unit seemed to fit the bill. Then amazon delivered it to my home and ... The first thing I noticed is that it was packaged for a supermarket shelf - without any protection against being thrown around by UPS. That is, the package leaves the large LED display face completely exposed to impact. There are a couple of adhesive pieces over the display to prevent scratches, but that's it. The cardboard packaging only protects the back and sides of the unit. There is no cardboard cover over the actual display - it is wide open. Looks pretty, but useless for protecting the item during shipping. So if something sharp pokes through the front of the thin delivery envelope, this display will be toast! Thankfully, mine arrived in what appeared to be good condition, but then a second roadblock appeared. I put batteries in the transmitter, and that went OK - it has a blinking red LED to show that it's working, and that lights up every once in a while, just like a smoke alarm. But, the main display unit was dead. I must have put the batteries (good ones!) into the main display ten times or more. Nothing. Completely blank. Pressed the RESET button on the back several times. Still, nothing. Then, after taking out the batteries and putting them back in one more time, it finally lit up! But I noticed that once I moved the unit somewhat abruptly, while mouting it on the wall, the entire display went blank again! Then after a little while, it lit up. So I very CAREFULLY set it against the wall, and it stayed on. Much too sensitive to movement, in my opinion. I kind of wonder if something is loose inside. No rattling, but it will reset or go blank with the slightest amount of jiggling. Now, after all that, the time and temperature are displayed. I will have to wait until tomorrow to see if the time receiver is working (starts after ten minutes of being turned on, and then again at 1 am, etc.). But, now comes the final hurdle. And most disappointing of all - the master display is dim - very low contrast! Noticably less contrast than the LaCrosse unit. For example, this Sharp unit has black digits against a dark grey background, while the Lacrosse unit has black digits against a bright silver background. So, even though it is about 25% smaller, the LaCrosse unit is MUCH easier to read in low light conditions. I'm leaving it up for now, to see if my wife can even read it across the room. I can't, but perhaps she can. We'll see - and then I'll update this review. In closing, I'd say that if you don't mount the Sharp display in a brighly lit room, you won't be able to read it unless you are within five feet of the display. If you are farther away than that, and it's twilight, forget about it!

Easy set and easy to read
Bought this to replace an old one that bit the dust. This one has good size numbers so it’s easy to spot. Plus the outside sensor lets you know the outside temp as well. It was an easy set up too. I’m spoiled to these atomic clocks that keep up with the correct time & daylight savings on and off. I’m happy with it.

I could not recommend anyone buy this product as the price is not even close to the build quality of the product even without all the issues I am suffering from the unit I received. This product was sold to me as an Atomic clock, unfortunately it is only an atomic clock if you live in the USA as you will see from photo 4 the Time Zones you set are only based on USE time zones and phot 1 shows you it will only set to WWVB radio broadcast by the US Government's National Institute of Standards and Technology in Colorado. The unit I received was a pre-used clock although I paid full price of a new clock (you can see this from the scratches seen in photo 4 and 5). Also despite the set up notes on the box stating that the sensor takes 2xAAA batteries it actually takes 2xAA batteries (photos 2 and 3). There is also no way to hand the sensor outside unless you wrap the sensor in wire or string?

I’ve always been a fan of digital watches (Casio, Seiko etc.), so it was a natural choice to buy a digital wall clock. Having the date, and indoor / outdoor temperature is a bonus. I followed the setup instructions to the letter, and annoyingly, the outdoor temperature displays for around 5 seconds, then disappears for around 10 seconds. This is why I’ve given the four stars. Other than that, very happy.

Have had it for 10 days now, moved it various parts of the house hoping it would get a signal (including spots where I have other similar clocks which work just fine) I’ll change my rating if it actually works in the near future but if it doesn’t I’ll be looking at returning it.
