Great sounding multi effects unit at a great price!
This multi effects unit has the latest chips to be in a multi effects unit and they did a good job, the line 6 insane simulation sounds better thanthe original and the clean amp simulations sound terrific too, because of the latest technology that this unit contains you can even hook it through the usb port to see on your computer to change effect settingsand amp simulators!

An absolutely fantastic piece of equipment
there really isn't too much that this thing can't do. I play as part of a worship team and utilize this with my Ibanez jazz guitar and it works beautifully. I coupled it with their proprietary footswitch and I have multiple channels that I use and can turn on and off individual effects within those channels. if you ever wanted to know what your guitar would sound like running through a 1962 Fender Twin Reverb using four 12 inch speakers rather than 2 you can actually do that. Everything from old Fender amps to a Roland Jazz chorus to Modern Proco rat pedals boss ds-1 Distortion and an Ibanez Tube Screamer, this thing has it all.

some effects need to be "dialed in" to be musical
I didn't want to invest in a collection of pedals that cost more than my guitar. This device certainly does that. It has some great effects out of the box, but more effects need to be "dialed in" to be musical. I don't know if this is a limitation of the AudioDNA2™ DSP Processor, or threatened lawsuits for copying other pedals. I am learning to program my own effects, or modify presets. You definitely want to spring for the 3-button effects pedal that mates to this.

Needs better software
Unit is great, having ongoing problems with Nexus programming software.

The Digitech RP 360 is a great multi-effects pedal
The Digitech RP 360 is a great multi-effects pedal. The sounds are beautiful. It has so many combinations of amps, cabinets, and effects that you could make literally thousands of different set ups with just this pedal. The looper is an added bonus. You can even plug in a audio device and play along with midis or sound tracks. I love it and I have only begun to scratch the surface of this device and I have found it to be a huge improvement over just my amp alone.

Highly recommended.
I’ve had a bunch on DigiTech multi-effect devices (Element, RP255) - all have been good, but this is my favorite so far. Great display. Can use additional foot switch and software is easy. Great for $150.

Amazing
This is an amazing box of everything and then some. More than worth the time it takes to learn how to fully use it. It's like buying dozens of the iStomp pedals for 2/3 the price of just one of those, I bought the one without the expression pedal, $50 less, a Moog pedal is $40 and lets it be well away from the box, plus you get a looper, aren't they just fun, and a drum machine for practicing. All in all this is one amazing little box, and the best one they have built in my humble opinion.

Happy enough, I am the reason why this is now out of stock. This piece of work worth way more money than what you pay for it. I have the older RP155 and this is just like the "WoW" multi-effects pedal. Down to business: * Pros: - Not mentioning the number of effects it has (get that from the Ads/Manual/Specs), but the fact that you arrange the sequence of effects in amazing flexibility is really stunning. This is not like the older generations of RP55,155,2555....etc. - 40 seconds looper with overdubbing capability. You can record over and over your own recording. That really sounds amazing. - The quality of sound. I have to say, I have not tried this pedal on real amp yet, just over a portable Mini Marshal 5 watts amp. It sounds amazing through this very little basic amp. - The fact that you can connect it to Mixer, computer and other recording interfaces makes it a pro kind of multi-effect given the high quality of sounds - Presets are amazing! So far I did not have to create my own (just played around) - Power supply is 110 to 240 with optional extensions to match almost any plug in the world even ones I haven't seen! This is amazing for someone like me jumping between airplanes. I am happy that unlike Boss, DigiTech is not trying to make money out of selling power supplies. - Surely it is better than Boss entry level multi-effects like the M-25 for 3 times the price and maybe half the features. - Manual details every type of effect and various settings and parameters. Cons: - Manual is really long over 120 pages. I did not have to read every word but...this is not an easy piece to work with. You have to spend sometime with it, remember all features that it offers (because you do not need them all at the same time), and keep the manual handy! - They should have invested a bit in a bigger touch screen maybe, where you can actually do more. I think I just need to get used to the way it works which I would say, not that easy to memorize for all settings. - Yes, you cannot use the drum machine with the looper. Still amazing piece for the money. Enjoy!
