Larger than expected; this holds a lot of shrimp! I like that it comes with three pieces — the tray itself, a bottom part for ice, and a cover. Many other brands make you use the ice holder/cover interchangeably (two pieces instead of three). Mine also came with silicone ice trays; have not had a chance to use them yet, but they look like nice quality.

This was an immediate buy for me when I saw it. In fact, I bought two, one is for my daughter for her birthday. I was pleasantly surprised on the size of the platter because sometimes a picture might be deceiving and the item is a lot smaller. This one has a nice size area for your food items and a middle section for dip or sauce. You attach it to the bottom portion, which has room for ice cubes and not only that , you get four little mini ice cube trays to make ice cubes for the platter. Normal size ice cubes will work also . The platter also comes with a top so you can cover it and bring it to a potluck, etc. It is a durable plastic like material and fits in the dishwasher no problem . This will keep your food cold a lot longer. If you put it out for a party, you can put your shrimp, etc. in the dish and it will stay cold for a long time. You could also easily move the top portion to refill the ice cubes when they melt if it’s a hot day. I felt I scored a big one on this purchase! This will be used anytime I have people over and serve something that needs to stay cold.

In all of my at least 20 (?) years on Amazon, after approx 5500 orders and deliveries, I’ve never been so impressed with an item. First, the box is as strong as an ox and the inside was padded and wrapped up so no harm can come to it. Then I take it out of the wrapper and it’s just beautifully made. Not a single flaw. Please, could every company care about their customers and their products like this one?! I was afraid the chill tray would be cheap or flimsy. No, it’s perfection. It’s going to look so nice at my daughter’s bridal shower. This item should get a gold star next to it on the website to let everyone know it’s perfection. Thank you Innovative Life. This product is great, if you plan on serving at home and do not have to travel with the dish. The lid is not secure to the bottom, so will slide around with even the slightest of movements. However, if you do not plan to travel with it, it is a great item.

Bought this tray so I could serve shrimp at bbqs. Works perfectly and keeps appetizers cold for 2 -3 hours

The server meets my need for a portable and covered chill platter, and the size is perfect. It keeps the food fresh and chill. The middle tray has several compartments and holds food well. The included ice trays are useful too. I can prepare extra ice if needed. I have used it for salad and chips and snacks, and will try it for sashimi and rolls later. It’s a very sturdy but light weight and can be cleaned easily by dish washer. So the whole package is perfect for my family. Great product, highly recommend!

The ice tray is generously sized and the tray is divided well. Having a large area, 2 medium areas, and a small area works well with a lot of foods. For a fruit tray you can put pineapple spears in the large area and smaller fruits in the medium sized ones. It works well with hummus and pita, veggie trays, really all of the summertime snack foods.
