I am very impressed with this little heater. It has a temp range adjustment as well as three fan settings. It heats up very quickly and the fan is very powerful on its highest setting. I have an 18x18 attached garage. 2 walls are insulated/exterior, 1 is the house, and the 4th is the metal door which leaks air and is obviously not insulated. So it gets very cold in the winter. This weekend I was out there when the temps got down to 0F degrees (-18C), and with this heater alone, my garage was 50F in the 10 ft radius in from of heater, and 42F everywhere else. A 40-50 degree increase! The only thing that was a little difficult and costly was having to install the 240V electric. But we'll worth it compared to getting propane every other day.

The heater blows nice hot air thing is comfort zone was zero help when I asked for a wiring diagram for this unit. Because it came wired with 12awg stranded which makes no sense since it's hard wired for 240 I ran 10awg from the power relay to a disconnect to its own double 30amp breaker. Oh the power relay company is a joke to absolutely zero help there either so anyone that orders this little heater will notice the manual is garbage. The lady from Amazon was awesome helping me with a replacement come to find out the power relay on the first heater was defective the second works like a champ. Thank you Amazon lady

Failed in every way after connecting

Fan won't shut off, unless it's done manually.

Pros Smaller/sleeker, more efficient, quieter and powerful there’s not much to complain about. Cons Unlike previous models the 280 has a cool down sequence to extend the units life, this means it needs be be turned on and off from the control panel versus a remote switch/breaker. When mounted on high ceiling this presents some challenges, as a temp fix I’m using a magnetic hook and set of cooking tongs to reach and operate the panel without a stool/ladder.
