Can my daughter who wears a woman size 4 fit the socks?

They might be a little bit extra long on her, like thigh high. I bought the Hufflepuff ones, I wear size 5 and 1/2 to 6 and they go right below my knee.

Are these compression socks?

Only if you happen to have larger legs. They are tight, have no stretch, & are thin enough to snag on a toenail on first try-on. Don't waste the $

Will these work for a wide calf?

I don’t think so. I have wide calf’s and I wouldn’t have been able to wear them.

Suitable for women with wide calves?

No, baught them for my daughter. She has 16.5 in. Calves and they were a little tight.

These socks were used for my daughter to go to Harry Potter camp this summer and she loved them. They fit her perfect and she looked so cute. I would definitely recommend these socks. She is 8 years old and they were just the right size for her.

Went perfect with my costume

These were the perfect item for my costume! They fit all the way up to my knees and didn't slide down my leg the whole day! Comfortable and not itchy. Reasonable price for what I needed them for, I'm sure I will wear them again.
