Product Description Lu Chan (Jayden Yuan) is still trying to find his place in Chen Village, the legendary town where everyone is a martial arts master and Chen-style Tai Chi is forbidden to outsiders. But since he helped save the town from a frightening steam-powered machine, Yuniang (Angela baby), beautiful daughter of Grandmaster Chen (Tony Leung Ka-Fai), agrees to marry Lu Chan and bring him into the family. It's only a formality, though she is the teacher, and he is the student and that suits Lu Chan just fine, as the mutant horn on his head gives him incredible kung-fu power, but leaves him dumber each time, and closer to death. Chen Village still stands in the shadow of danger. A prodigal brother returns, Lu Chans presence invokes a curse on the town, and Yuniangs scorned fiancée has an appetite for revenge, as well as some new partners in crime. The second in a trilogy from the creators of Ip Man and Detective Dee, and featuring action directed by the legendary Sammo Hung, TAI CHI HERO is a full-on, steampunk-infused, video game-influenced kung fu throw down that will knock you out of your seat. Review "Impressive...what a proper martial arts film should be" --Screen Daily

Moving towards a new Hollywood genre of martial arts?
Very fun movie! I've watched both of "Hero and Zero" in this area and can't wait for the 3rd installment! What I liked:- Fast paced- Good plot- Good characters- FunnyWhat I didn't like:- The video game aspect of it was kind of juvenile. They would insert video game pop ups that didn't make any sense.Summary:In the end it was a fun, past paced movie with a good story line. It kept moving, developed characters and plot very nicely. It made me laugh also which can never be a bad thing. If this is moving towards a new Hollywood genre of martial arts then it's moving in the right direction.

Heroic and Awesome!
Easily one of my favorite movie franchises of all time, Tai Chi Zero/Hero is a lot of fun and full of great acting people. I've watched them 6 times, I think, and then lent them to a coworker and haven't seen them since. Oh well, non-attachment is good, and these movies are even better. Steampunky, fun, and the lead actor and the villain are perfect. Lots of fun, unless you are a humorless person, in which case, remember that EVERYTHING is an illusion, and you and I are one. And you are one with everything else, too, even the gross stuff and the beautiful stuff.

Fun and silly sequel
This is the sequel to the film "Tai Chi Zero" that it's just as fun and silly as the first one.

One of my Favorites
This is one of my favorite movies. I love the series. I've seen the Wu Jing (Jacky Wu) version and I love it but this updated version by Stephen Fung is exceptional. I love Stephen Fung as an actor and I love him ever more as a director. (see "Into the Badlands") One of the main reasons I started watching this movie series is because of Tony Leung Ka-Fai. I absolutely love him. The cast is beautiful and believable.

Great Steampunk Kungfu
Either you want to watch something like this or you don't. Come for the Kungfu, stay for the Steampunk. And technically, EVERYTHING is Kungfu...

A modern Kung-Fu Theater offering
Having grown up on Sunday Morning Kung-Fu Theater, one rarely expects a stunning plot line. While the plot of Tai-chi hero picks up from Tai-Chi Zero and moves forward decently it is still good mindless fun. The juxtaposition of the Steampunk world with the Kung-Fu theaterish antics makes it a perfect update for the current generation of Kung-Fu enthusiasts who are looking for action and not a lot of deep thought provoking concepts. It is a simple pleasure.

silly and ridiculous fun
Steampunk meets kung fu. Interesting concept. Once you get your head around it (IF you do) can be quite a fun little film with little nuggets of Tai Chi gold in it. Silly and ridiculous but some great martial arts
