Probably the best one
This has to be one of the best fruit pickers on amazon that I saw and I went through so many. This doesn't use those quirky connections like the others do. This has a solid and tight connection to each pole that screws in securely. The basket works well and everything works as expected. I really like this product and glad I didn't order the other ones as I heard issues about how the link together. I didn't experience any defects. I would buy this again.

Great but short pole!
It’s great, just short. Keep that in mind when buying. I wanted to use in an avocado tree that’s tall and had to get on a ladder. Even then, couldn’t reach the top ones. But good, sturdy and functional.

Works well
I bought the 120" version just too ensure I had the necessary reach for whatever task was at hand. We have a very large pomegranate tree which can produce well over 200 fruit most years, not including what the birds and rodents claim (not insignificant). Unfortunately, it fights back. Pomegranate trees have vicious thorns and mine is also on a fairly steep hill. Most years I come out looking like I've been attacked by a bunch of angry cats. A coworker brought one to work for wild fruit that grew on the property and I thought it worked well. To use it, you should take care not to damage the fruit with the end prongs. I fork the fruit stem between those prongs, then twist and pull. Most fruit lasts longer with a bit of stem attached, but the motion required to use this means your won't get stems usually. The basket can hold 2 medium fruit or the largest pomegranates. If you have standard mobility, this picker is easy to use. It's lightweight and sturdy. None of the prongs bent despite some tough tugging and the metal poles have no dents. You can add or remove poles easily as you work. Assembly isn't rocket science. Maybe 5 minutes when you first unpack it to get the basket clamped together. We'll probably use this many years.

What you need to know in advance...
Something important to be aware of: The prongs on the picker head will likely puncture the top of the fruit they pull against. Be prepared to clip off or bend these downward bent tips, or come up with a way to "neutralize" this problem...because it's a big problem that needs to either be corrected by R&D, or by the purchaser. Otherwise, every other facet of this is excellent. Super sturdy pole up to 20 feet in length and big enough head for most fruit. Impressive tool. But because of the hole poking problem needing to be brainstormed, I can only give it 3 stars.

This picker pole easily adjusts to the height you require
It's well built. It will last my lifetime. I like how you can adjust the height by adding a section or removing a section. It screws together easily and is really solid. At 20 feet, trying to reach the fuyu persimmons, the pole stayed straight. I love it. Im so glad I bought it.

A summer staple
Love this product and would recommend it to anyone. We have a cherry tree that is way overgrown and hard to harvest. This product is so easy to use and take apart. Everyone asks to borrow it. Love how it’s versatile for other harvests. We just push the prongs closer to each other to harvest cherries. Then when it’s time for peaches we just push them farther apart. Definitely a great buy considering it saves us time and it’s safer than climbing a ladder with children around. The bag that it comes with it is perfect for storing it away in the winter. Only complaint is that it did come in a smashed box and all the pieces to put it together were falling out of the box because they weren’t bagged up.

Highly recommended! This fruit picking pole is fantastic, easy and quick to assemble and strong. My purchase was inspired by my last trip to Jamaica in mango season and watchingmy man sptuggle with long sticks to bring down mangos, often falling distance to the ground to split the skin and ruin it. So I brought him the midsize to Jamaica and it is not a household staple. I dont even know half the fruits he picks but they are free and tasty!
