These work great for do it yourself snowboard waxers. Different brushes are great for wax removal and application, the metal edging tool can damage your board so please keep it angled correctly and don't use too much force.

Great brushes and wax kit. You can’t beat the price either. Loved the scraper. Effortless. Most scrapers I’ve had were plexi. They work but they don’t work near as good as the metal one in this kit. Good file too. Great bargain.

Great brush set for the money. The brushes are big enough to cover a good amount of surface on snowboards, making the job easier. I use the softest brush to get rid of loose dirt prior to adding new wax and smooth out the new wax at the very end. I use the brass brush to scrape up the old wax still on the board, and use the nylon brush to brush off the old wax before applying the new wax treatment. I also use the nylon brush after scraping the new wax off to get rid of the remaining loose wax flakes. The scraper I will say is a little small. You have to apply a lot of pressure to scrape off the new wax and have cut myself a couple times trying to keep a good grip. Recently I bought a different one, so hopefully I can get a good result with the new one. That is my only gripe about the kit, but not a reason to not buy it. The brushes themselves are worth it.
