My tire picked up a nail about 1/8" in diameter - the body of the nail actually sealed the hole pretty well and I only had to air up the tire every couple weeks, but it was still a little annoying. I picked up these screw plugs as they seemed easier to use than a traditional string plug, although I was a little skeptical that they'd work as well. I pushed the body of the nail into the tire, then screwed one of these in - it seemed like it still leaked a little overnight, so I sized up to a larger plug the next morning. The install, uninstall and reinstall were all very easy and I was pleased to see zero air leakage after several weeks of being in the tire. Each of these kits comes with individually packaged plugs, so they're easy to separate out into your emergency roadside kit if you have multiple cars that you're taking care of.

The plug works as advertised. I recently picked up a nail in one of my pickup truck tires which promptly went flat on the side of a busy freeway. I jacked up the tire, put a mini compressor on it, found the puncture, and screwed in the plug. The tire still had an occasional bubble so I removed the plug and used a new one that I also coated with heavy duty black rubber adhesive that I had also purchased separately. When I screwed the plug in this time it sealed instantly. This is the reason I took a star off as the company really needs to include a bottle of adhsive in their kit. One other item, it takes a #1 Philips Head Screwdriver to screw the plugs in and the kit does not include one. I always carry travel tools so it wasnt an issue for me, but if you don't travel with tools then make sure to have a good screwdriver in your roadside emergency kit. You will also need a battery powered mini compressor to fill the repaired tire.

I used one to fix a screw hole in the tread of my daughter's tire. It's been holding for six months now. I keep them in all my cars and have given several of the extras to friends.

I ordered these because it looked like a feasible product and easier to use than the string patch. I haven't had a need yet. The item is as described.

I usually am not good at leaving comments. This was so easy, I didn’t have much confidence it would even work. I removed a large deck screw from my truck tire and inserted one of these. It’s been over a week and still holding. I did apply tire cement as a precaution but don’t needed it.

I hope these work when the time comes. The idea is good. A fast patch or temp patch to get you home. So I put some in the car, truck, E bike box. and hope I never have to use one.

idk if product is good or not, they wanted a reiew 2 days after i ordered it, but have not needed to use it yet. I ordered it as a back up if needed. I looks good, but that is all i can say.

Bought these thinking I’d probably never use them — the price was good and it’s one of those “better to have it and not need it” items. Got laughed at for buying them… right up until yesterday. Pulled a three-inch tech screw out of my rear tyre and these did exactly what they’re supposed to do. Problem solved, no drama. Great little product. Throw them in the glove box and forget about them. If you never need them, perfect. But if you do — boom, mic drop. Highly recommend.

Works as a temporary fix........ Some Air does get through , but ever so slowly , so if used ,you will definitely reach a nearest Puncture repair for sure
