Excellent foot pro for dogs- WELL worth the investment
This is my second time purchasing and I am probably going to keep buying these as long as they're being sold! 100% worth it for the protection and comfort they provide my dogs. Sizing: I got size 6 for my 65 lb dog and a size 8 for my 85 lb dog. Short story: they're very protective, dogs dont mind them, easy to put on, stay on securely, moisture resistant, and have an expected amount of life/wear in them. Buy them! Your dog's feet will thank you. I live in FL and use them on the roads here- I know a lot of folks only think of getting shoes for extreme weather or weird terrain but let me tell you, roads have their share of hazards too- pavement gets HOT in the summer sun and all kinds of trash and fragments of things end up on the edges of roads and walkways- things you can't always see like glass. These are 100% worth it and I will always buy them for my dogs from now on. Long story: I originally bought 2 sets of these for both my large dogs, doberman pinschers, about 8 months ago. I take them on runs with me around the neighborhood daily and last year one of them got a piece of glass in her foot and I sought to prevent that from happening again so I found these babies. Yeah the dogs were a little hesitant at first and high step when I first out them in but use treats to build a positive association and the second we leave the house they forget about them. The Velcro straps tighten right around the 'ankles' so the shape of their paws keeps the shoes from slipping off. Rubber is thick and protective - I can tell my dogs notice a difference since using them, as they used to lose some steam around the 3/4 mark on our jaunts but not they're full steam ahead the whole time! I now think they only started to poop out earlier cause their feet were sore.. Regarding the wear and tear: nothing lasts forever, just remember that. I am replacing these after 8 months because a couple of the shoes developed worn out holes in them but this is in no way a defect of the manufacturer-shoes are designed to wear out slowly. Heck, serious runners replace their running shoes every 4-6 months! So, considering we run daily, 8 months is more life than I expected to get out of them. I am very pleased, which is why I just bought my second set. I now consider these as essential a piece of equipment for dogs as having a leash, food and water bowl.

Nice and sturdy
Very sturdy and very cute. Easy to put on and the Velcro seems to be sturdy enough to keep the shoes on while running and jumping and regular walking. They are not a distraction for the dog and she likes to show them off. I’m glad I got these. They are also comfortable enough for the doggie when we are inside and I just slip them on so she won’t lick. I think I may get another pair

Exceptional quality, except the sizing might be a bit off…
These would be given beyond a 5 star rating, but I had to give it a 4 due to the fact that I had to return them. The ONLY reason why I did is because they were too big for my 14 pound Maltese bichon. Every dog‘s anatomy is different so I cannot fault the manufacturer but 10 pounds to 23 pounds should have fit her in a size small but they were a bit big and she hates things on her feet anyway, but she needs to have something on when she goes out in the severe pollen that’s outside right now in the grass, but she is indoor potty trained so she staying indoors so she doesn’t chew her paws off. These are well made of high-quality. I would say the durability is exceptional… You cannot go wrong with these and I would not hesitate recommending these to anyone (when it comes to sizing I don’t know what to say, except every dog is different and my little girl just happens to have little legs). But I honestly don’t think you’re gonna get a better quality outdoor dog boot than these, especially for the price, I hope they fit your fur babies tootsies!

No More Stickers in the Paws!
My dog is a Standard Poodle who weighs between 75-80 pounds. I got him a size 8 and they fit perfectly. It took him about 10 minutes or so to get used to them but afterwards he didn’t have any problems. At first the back shoe kept twisting but I figured out that you have to make sure the straps are tight enough but not too tight. Make sure to also get the shoes over the dew claw or they’ll rub against it and cause them to become sore and raw. Poodles have so much hair that stickers attach easily and then mat up in between the bottom of the paws. These have saved my dogs paws since he would bite and chew attempting to remove the stickers causing sores and redness. I know longer have to spend time trying to pull them out after every walk. As for the sturdiness, my dog has worn them for about 6 weeks and walks an average of 5 days a week, hello she said she loves you, so what’s up yeah I was typing a review on Amazon for the little shoes I put on my dog for their walk Rocky has to because he’s got so much hair then when we go around the wash he gets those little stickers that they were getting up in the cracks of the pause, and then I had to go up in there and pull them out because he would chew on them and make sores in his paws so they work well so what are you up to? Oh yeah I just started back huh? Well let me know. Let me know if you need help with that. He just got it. No just like go tonight. Find out all what she’s going to need and let me know an amount that you think will cover it all OK yeah I Niko it goes into your bank instantly so that’s what I say is she asked for it that’s hard though when you get on her classes because it in high school they’re tough huh in what oh that’s that’s gonna be really tough. Tell her she’s really gonna have to study for it because the last thing you wanna do is take an honors class and then get a low grade is they just can’t keep up yes hopefully she’ll be OK in it to tell you Art are all the kids started last week for ours. I know it’s like it used to yes and that’s the way it should be because it’s so hot why are you making kids go to school and be there when it’s 100° oh geez she’s she’s got a full schedule that’s what I did because I went to the cosmetology during the summer I guess the extra units in Bakersfield needed 20 less units to graduate so I took out a year early all right. Well, considering that considering I was like five months pregnant I needed to get out I was married though no kidding I was just stupid almost 17. Yes and I had you before just before I turn 18 so that’s correct I well that’s like Taryn‘s mom is 64 or five whatever you know and I haven’t even turned 60 yet so most of them are about five years or so older just was a couple years ahead of my time smart people wait till after they’re 21 I don’t know I had to have two kids by 28. I’m glad I’m just smart enough to stop at two couldn’t imagine like having four kids or whatever Ken can’t afford to yeah when I see people having four and five kids I’m like what are you thinking since like you never know so, so how’s Tim‘s arm or wrist? Are they still talking surgery or they think he’s gonna be able to heal and you’re probably already passed your date of C I am I have a my Google calendar and I put it in as soon as I get done with the appointment. Otherwise I won’t remember. Yeah exactly like I have to put all my appointments. It’s like anywhere I have to go. I got a put it in now. I’ll grab all grandma‘s appointments because I try not to double book either so you just never know I’m just getting home or‘s always crap in the car you well you got the humidity but what’s the actual temperature? Yeah we’ve been having around 100 102 so but we had a couple days of humidity and I thought I was gonna die it’s like you just sweat we go in and we walk in the morning and I’m like I’m sweating don’t like that I don’t know I don’t wanna sweat around my bra on my waist band nose. Yeah the little bit like if I go to try to do the water in the back or anything as yeah that same thing I get drenched quick, so I can’t imagine if I have the humidity like you yeah that is that sucks so I feel for you because I don’t I look at him like our our exterminator that comes and sprays our house and he’s you know got gloves on long sleeves and has to wear a mask and he’s spraying everywhere and he’s out and that you know he do that all day I die or manual labor the gardeners are out there. Oh I did it one day where I wanted to get done and I cut stuff and I was trying to kind of get shaded by my bushes but I stayed out there too long and I got that severe cramps at night and stuff because I guess I just heat exhaustion and probably dehydrated so it’s like nope we can’t do that anymore. I guess I’m getting old not that I was ever good when I was young. Who’s hiding yet? No cap yeah I say cats do a bit. Yeah the dogs I mean they don’t. There’s nothing they can do but you think he go on the floor not the bed or watch her bladder because she could have a bladder infection to better watch her. You don’t need a big old vet bill and that’s possible I meant to I thought I did so you want me to let you go since you’re home OK already love you bye 2 1/2 miles at a time. The back shoe has already cracked but I walk my dog around a wash and on gravel which is hard on any shoes. And it doesn’t help when you have a very excitable and hyper dog. I bought a 2nd pair and will just replace one as needed. I would definitely recommend these for anyone that wants to protect their dog’s paws from heat, cold, and rough terrain.

Good for gentle use, not back country.
Okay, here is the real rundown on these dog booties-the good and the bad. Good: - These things stay on like glue! My dogs wore them in the river, on gravel, and through deep mud and we only lost one bootie once. - The rubber sole is durable. Paws were protected after 3 days on the river. - True to size. Bought based on suggested weight ranges and they fit great. The bad: - Not for very rugged use. I believe it to be a design flaw, as both pairs had the same issue. But just above where the rubber sole ends and below where the straps begin, is a small fabric area. This tore open in 5 out of 8 of the booties we ordered after the first use. Granted, it was very rugged use, but still disappointing. In the end, we returned the booties and will need to look into a more durable brand. But if you aren’t planning on going out on rugged terrain, then these booties will work great!

These are hands down the Best dog boots I’ve ever purchased
I have a 5 year old male 95 lb lab/Great Dane mix, & a 2 year old male 55 lb husky mix. They have gone through so many boots/shoes. Last winter was especially rough on their paws in this midwestern snow. With the gallons of salt they dump in the parking lot, on the sidewalks, and in the streets surrounding my apartment complex, walking them was so difficult. They would just go through pair after pair. Either the bottom would get torn up from walking, or their nails would rip them right open, or some simply were badly designed, and just wouldn’t stay on. Anyway these are amazing they are a bit wider than I expected which is great, gives their toes some wiggle room, and doesn’t compress their paws at all. My husky started trying to shake them off and even started scooting his feet back and forth in attempt to get them off. And he wasn’t able to simply kick or scoot them off at all. Even outside he was so determined to get them off he just kept scooting and scooting his paws on the sidewalk like GET. THESE. THINGS. OFF. OF. ME. 😆but to no avail, they did not come off. I really love the rubber soles of the boots, they are thick and tough like actual snow boots. 20/10 would def recommend. I got size 8 in red for the 95lb Dane and 6 for my 55lb husky. Don’t be scared, at first glance they look huge but you’ll find your babies paws fit in them perfectly. I like that they leave them a little wiggle room.

No troubles getting dog to wear
Our dog is allergic to pretty much everything outside, and one of the areas to suffer the most are his feet. He gets really red, irritated, severely itchy skin between his toes and pads three out of four seasons. We clean off his feet after every trip outside, but that option gets really expensive, really quick with buying wipes, paper towels, paw cleaner, extra laundry, etc. We delayed getting him booties since we weren't sure how he'd react. Well, finally we decided to go ahead and buy a set. Turns out he doesn't mind wearing these at all. His back paws are incredibly ticklish, so not having to go through the torment of that every time he goes outside is probably the better deal in his doggy mind. After a couple of minutes of wonky walking to get used to the feel of the booties, he was off romping in the yard. We still need to clean the booties (wipe down the bottoms after each trip outside if they are dirty, and toss in the laundry every so often to keep the insides clean), but it's a heck of a lot less work - and cheaper - than wiping his paws after each jaunt. The velcro straps keep the booties securely on his paws, and there is plenty of room for his toes and nails. We got the largest size available just in case, and we're glad we sized up one size. This allows his toes to freely spread like they normally would if his paws were bare. He doesn't suffer from lack of balance or steadiness when walking or running, even over uneven ground. Since these are used so frequently and as we do launder them, I suspect we will need to replace the two sets we have before the year is over. These booties are well made and seem to be comfortable for him, but like any shoe the tread on the bottom starts to wear down. We try to clean out the velcro as much as possible, but that can also start to loose grip over time. For as much as he wears these and the time and energy saved not having to clean off his paws several times a day (not to mention making less trash or using as much electricity and water), we will 100% get our money's worth. Now we feel pet parent guilt for not buying booties sooner!!!

It's a Good Concept
**REVIEW EDIT: I increased the star value from 3 to 4 for customer service. The customer service for this product is extremely responsive and they want to help. Contact them directly if the product needs exchange/return. Original Review: PROS: -Absolutely adorable -Well made, with good stitching, and great details on the traction on the bottom. Appears as though it would last. CONS: -Could not, after many, many, many tries get these to stay on my dog. I have a 13lb shih tzu who is very well behaved and not at all wiggly. (He even enjoys being dressed in his other clothing and sits still so I can get it all arranged). I bought the smallest size (1) after returning a different size pair (2) that were obviously too large. I wanted them to work really badly!! When placed on the dog, the size 1s do 'feel as though' they are velcro'd firmly around each leg and the foot 'feels as though' it is properly seated in shoe pad. However, once we are out for our little walk around two blocks, at least one shoe slips off within the first 2 minutes or so. Replace it and a different one pops off moments later. This turns a walk into a massive headache and frustrates the poor dog to no end. I have given up now, but I did make approximately 5-6 tries and it did not seem to matter how tight I cinched the velcro or whether his legs were very (very) fluffy or shaved. After all the attempts, it did not seem right to return a 'used' set of shoes.
