Works well when positioned properly with phone. I use an iPhone with NFC E-Tag app, and everything works great. The package is designed without a case, and appears as a DIY board with stand-offs. I made a lego frame/case for it; it fits well withing the lego brick sizing.

What a cool little gadget! I have four which are used in 3D-printed tap handles for my beer faucets. I just ask chatGPT to make me a label for my beer bottles then use the image for the e-ink screens. I just wish there were more shades of gray.

Works great. Used for a bar tap to display what beer is on tap. Battery last for ages, image is solid. Sending through an NFC app does have issues sometimes but that's more of an app issue.

Someone else wrote a review saying that it doesn't work on an S22 ultra, which isn't true because it works on mine. The caveat being that I had to remove my case and place it directly on the NFC sensor near the bottom half of the phone in order to get it, it has to be in the exact right spot to do the update or it won't work - so it's a bit finicky that way but it does work. I found it annoying that the android app isn't in the play store and I had to search around online to find it, it's not the most user friendly to get to. The app itself is also rather barebones. But the fact this thing you can update the images with your phone and it requires no power is astonishing to me so all in all its very cool. Bought this to try and make the beer tap display someone posted on printables.

This was actually my second attempt—the first screen I received didn’t work at all and had to be returned. Thankfully, the replacement worked out of the box. There are a few pixels that don’t seem to fill in completely, but for my purposes, it’s not a dealbreaker. The display functions as expected, and I was pleasantly surprised that the iOS app used to transmit content worked without any issues. Overall, satisfied with the purchase given the functionality I needed.
