I’ve purchased this Atlas Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil several times now, and it’s one I keep coming back to. As I’ve become more intentional about health and cooking, I look for oils that are both high-quality and organic—and this one checks those boxes. Overall, this is a fresh, well-balanced EVOO with a clean taste for cooking and a distinctive flavor for finishing dishes. It works beautifully in everyday cooking, where it stays light and clean, but it really shines in applications where the oil itself matters—like salad dressings, bread dipping, or baking (especially olive oil cakes). The flavor is fresh with a subtle peppery/pungent note typical of good extra virgin olive oil, which adds depth without overpowering. I also appreciate that it’s sourced from family farms in Morocco, which adds to the sense of quality and care behind the product. Pros: Fresh, high-quality organic EVOO Clean taste for cooking Distinctive flavor for finishing dishes Polyphenol-rich and minimally processed Sourced from a single family farm Cons: Flavor may be stronger than very mild oils (not a negative, but preference-based) Glass bottle requires careful handling Best for: Ideal for anyone looking for a high-quality olive oil for both cooking and finishing, especially if you enjoy a more flavorful, authentic EVOO. Bottom line: I would absolutely recommend this—it’s a staple in my kitchen and one I continue to repurchase for both its quality and taste.

I have been using EVOO in my dressings and cooking for years. I was raised by a "health nut" and even worked in a weight loss clinic. I recently did a lot of reading regarding polyphenols and the health benefits of EVOO. I love a peppery taste and need some antioxidant relief. This was my first online food order ever. I read the reviews and the stats before choosing Atlas. A few said theirs arrived rancid. I have to be completely honest. I THINK mine is as it is supposed to be. It is unlike any other I have tasted. It truly has a peppery finish! I LOVE pepper, but it is a bit of a scratchy slight burning sensation in the back of my throat. It is golden in color. I like the flavor in dressings and do not taste it when frying. I'm confused by these statistics: Cultivars Old bicentenary orchard Picholine du Languedoc (French variety, 80%), Picholine Marocaine (Moroccan variety, 10%), Menara (Moroccan variety, 2%), Haouzia (Moroccan variety, 2%), Chemlali (Tunisian, 2%), Dahbia (Moroccan variety, 4%) / modern orchard Arbequina (Spanish variety, 84%) and Arbossana (Spanish variety, 16%). Does this mean there are multiple varieties of olives in this mix? Does this also mean it's made with olives from a bunch of different groves? It is pricier than the ones at my local grocery store. I am going to try Graza which I just saw in the big W store and I will compare. I think that comes in two different types. I nearly forgot to mention, this oil comes out slowly, although it doesn't seem super viscous. It has a plastic insert that stops it from pouring too fast. It's in a dark glass bottle which can keep a fine (or cheap) wine from turning to vinegar or an oil from turning rancid. It was delivered in enough bubble wrap to have been able to drop it off my deck and it would have been unbroken. Very safe and secure!

My second time buying this oil bc is the first time tye olive oil didn’t test bad but also I had liver problems which was too oiled and after eating healthy with only this oil, I went to the doctor to check again after 5 months and my liver was ok again bc the two oil balls I had are gone. Is expensive but it worth it and now I only eat with this oil. Picture is the size difference between 750 ml with 1L.

I have this item on my subscribe list - it's that good! Comes in a really sturdy glass bottle, and the price is very reasonable for the amount you get. Use it to cook with everyday - tastes amazing.
