Keb90 are nearly 2x the price of Kph40's Both sound great. Keb90 are clear and clean. I have Kph40's I would say they are warm and clean. They are both worth purchasing. You can run these with balanced cable and dac. I believe it increases sound quality.

KOSS Porta Pro model are fantastic but kept breaking & foam pads would fall off when putting headset on & off. Though I'd try the KEB90 because: "16 Ohm drivers built in an open-air design deliver remarkable high-fidelity audio across the entire 10-25,000Hz range producing deep bass, crisp highs and superior midrange". Sound was crystal clear & well defined but absolutely ZERO bass. Wouldn't matter except I've been spoiled by the Porta Pro's fantastic sound.

They are very comfortable. I don't like the sound signature out of the box. Too bright in the higher frequencies for my taste. That being said after dsp correcting them with a Qudelix-5K I really like them for the $30 sale price. Kind of new to dsp correction but highly recommend the Qudelix-5K for this feature alone.

Came in a box with extra stuff like silicone tips and foam tips. Spaghetti cables really helped with the cable issues that Koss has since forever. Would love to have a slightly smaller foam tip since the current one applies too much pressure on my ear canal and mad it uncomfortable after a couple hours.

After using Koss products for close to 50 years, I was very disappointed with these earbuds despite my efforts to make them work. Here are the issues: 1. Tinny, high-end; flat low-end 2. To some of us, left and right make a difference. In any lighting condition beyond daylight, the red right indicator, recessed where the cord is, is not discernible. 3. Clumsy physical design with poor ear bud materials makes getting a tight, sound "cancelling" fit impossible without putting physical pressure on the bud. I can't comment on any of the other features because if I can't use the "ear" component, microphone and device control are of little use. BTW - I "downgraded" to $14 Ulix Techs and am very impressed.
