Patak Garlic Pickle 10oz.

I love this product! It makes my favorite sandwich for hiking, camping & sack lunches. Spread any kind of flatbread with chevre (soft goat cheese). Add a slice or two of fried or grilled eggplant. Spread the eggplant with Patak Garlic Pickle/relish. Fold the bread over the eggplant. Here's a really tasty sandwich that won't spoil or get smooshed carrying it around in your backpack all day, and everything is easy to do while camping. What a treat on the trail!

I love this stuff!! However, I can't advise someone else as this may be an acquired taste. It's sweet, tart and full of cut garlic and coriander spiced oil. Pateks is the only company I've ever found (in at least 30 years) who makes this. As long as it's financially possible, I'll continue to purchase this in multi-Jar packs. To me, bc its so hard to find locally (in a major metro area!) the Shipping Costs are worth it.

Patak's Garlic Pickle is the standard if you are not going to make your pickle yourself. It is slightly sweet, slightly spicy, and deeply flavorful. I'm unable to get it in any store in my area, so I'm happy to pay to have it shipped. That in itself should be a recommendation!

Lower sodium than other brands. I put in on everything.

I was really upset when our local Asian grocery store stopped carrying this pickle. Lentil curry and curried vegetables just don't taste as good without it! Was so happy to find it here on Amazon! Arrived quickly and was well packaged! This garlic pickle adds a semi sweet tangy flavor to your meal! Also great for chickpea pancakes with yogurt!
