This tambourine is really well made. I trust Remo instruments for all the family. They are strong, euphonious, and fun to play with. This tambourine is great for my one year old, and I know it will stand the test of time and continue to be played for many years to come!

I play a lot of instruments and to help teach my kids about music I started with something simple. While this is a "toy" it actually feels and sounds more like an instrument. I was impressed with the sound and durability and it looks nice. For the price, the quality, and it being a "toy" that really is an instrument I say buy this it'll last and it sounds good. The kids both boys and girls love this and its very helpful for teaching. Great deal and great product.

Good quality, fast shipping and as described

We love this little tambourine. Got it for my son for his first birthday and would totally recommend. It is really solid and attractive, would make a great gift for a baby or toddler or child, especially because it grows with them for a long time. Unlike so many cheap or age specific toys out there. Sounds very pleasant, just a smaller version of an adult tambourine, not chintzy or flat sounding. My son and 3 year old daughter love to play with it, especially when Daddy picks up the guitar or when the other is playing on the Remo kid's Tom we have. It really is music to my ears :)

I bought this tambourine for my twin grandchildren for their first birthday to go with the Remo bongos I also got. The tambourine is a beautifully made instrument with a great sound. Definitely *****. But ... the package (though not the description) says for kids 3 and older, the reason being, I believe, that the metal jingles are very very sharp. Other reviewers here talk of one year olds enjoying the instrument and I think they are right on target for a single child. But 2 one-year olds? I think not. It would be too easy for one of the boys to injure the other just by playing with it. So if you have one child, go for it. I'm returning the tambourine and my two grandkids will have to wait another year or so to enoy this terrific instrument.

Don't be fooled by these having a kids' theme on them- Remo makes great quality percussion instruments and I got this to see if it would make a good sub for a riqq. A riqq is very expensive so I wanted to see how this would work and for me it works great. I also recommend these to use as travel tambourines due to the small size. Very pleased with the sound and tone of this wee instrument!

It seemed nice and good quality, my little one really liked it. But then it broke and I found the sharp little part from it on the floor of baby’s room. By mere luck I found it before the baby.

J'ai commandé cet article sur lequel on peut lire clairement "made in USA" ; l'article est, semble-t-il, conforme à la photo, mais sur la peau on peut lire "made in Taïwan"... J'espère que la qualité suivra à l'usage, ce petit tambourin n'étant pas encore livré par le Père Noël. Gênant quand même quand, par principe, on évite d'acheter à un pays qui inonde la planète de produits plus ou moins bien fabriqués.

Very happy with this tambourine! I bought it for home because my 9-month-old baby loves playing with it at her Monkey Music class. It looks great and is the perfect size for small hands. Well made too.
