Perfect for Game Boy Cartridge Saves – Reliable and Easy to Work With
These EEMB CR2025 batteries are exactly what I needed to revive my old Game Boy cartridges. The pre-soldered tabs make them ideal for replacing save batteries in GBC and GBA games—no need to mess around attaching your own tabs, which saves a lot of hassle. I’ve already used a few and had no problems soldering them into place. They hold their charge well, and save functionality is fully restored. A great way to breathe new life into retro games! You get 10 in the pack, which is brilliant value for money—more than enough to future-proof your collection or help out a few fellow collectors. They also arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. Highly recommended if you’re doing cartridge repairs or working on other small electronics that use CR2025 cells. Do not buy if you can't change regularly.
At the time I thought these were a great purchase (May 2024). However they were all packaged in one bag, meaning that the batteries all rested together and discharged over time. Replacements I've made using these only lasted a year where they should have lasted 10+ years. I have just checked all remaining batteries I had left and less than two years later, after sitting in storage they are all flat.
