Without doing some sort of software flash or coding, this is the best $25 you can spend on your Audi - in my case an '18 Q5 PP. It takes a little fidgeting to get the supplied release tools into the proper position to release each lock, but it's obvious once theyre unlocked, and you can slide the control panel out thereafter. Once free from the dash it's a simple unplug to install the override unit and slide the panel back into place. It works great!

Works perfectly as described on my 2017 Audi A4 Quattro. Very easy to install. Start/Stop is automatically turned off one second after engine start. Perfect.

I know it's not a big deal to remember to push the disable button every time you start the car, but man, this is WAY better! Took less than 5 minutes to install the cable and so far it's worked flawlessly with no errors. Auto start/stop was not invented by automotive engineers but bureaucrats in DC thinking they know better than these engineers. It's added wear and tear on your vehicle and really doesn't save any fuel in the long run. Very happy with this purchase. As others have noted, there are zero instructions included with the packaging but just watch a couple of youtube vids and you'll be fine

It's been a few months, and it works just fine. Easy to install, plug and play. Thus far, it works perfectly. I would strongly recommend getting it.

electronic works fantastic, the release tool is not so good. had to use audi factory release tool..see pics for tips red handle factory tool...good luck,,,im a professional automotive service technician for 40 plus yrs..

Works as intended; always off every time you start the car. You may have to "jimmy" the disassembly tool around since the springs can be stiff. Just make sure the disassembly tool cuts are facing inward and insert both before you start pulling that "button assembly box", that way both springs are compressed at the same time. Plenty of Youtube videos on how to install as well.

Easy to install and works perfectly in my 2024 A5. I wouldn't buy any new car unless I could defeat the stupid auto stop/start.

Game changer, took 2 minutes to install, never need to turn off the auto start/stop function again but have the option to turn it on if needed which will never happen

Just wanted to write a quick review so people are aware that this works with the newest gen S4 models. The installation is a breeze - took me about 2 minutes to do.

Working great so far. Quick fix for something that drove me mad. No instructions with it, so note my photos to show how the tools fit in. (This is the switch panel turned over once removed, to show the catches.) There are videos of this on YouTube too.
