How long does it takes to kick in

I used other products like hair oil with this. I like it but anthing you used on your hair takes time.

What are the full ongredients in the biotin oil?

Is the shampoo/conditioner of the same brand, needed to get full results?

I use regular shampoo and have seen good results from the oil alone.

Since hair chemist doesn't appear to provide any guidance, any suggestions on quantity to use per treatment? two drops? twenty drops? half the bottle?

I mix 4-5 drops of biotin to coconut oil (organic oil - about 2-3 teaspoons or less) (not sure if applying biotin on its own is sufficient - but either way coconut oil is a good hair nourisher) - gently massage it into the scalp - leave it overnight - wash hair the next day if you want or leave it in for longer. This has worked for me and has produced good results - hope this helps.
