This is an amazing cute set I think this is a great gift for anyone who sews or quilts or uses thread in any kind of way shape or form. It has everything I was looking for in one little package but it's long enough and big enough for me to use I also bought the pair of scissors or shears here on Amazon that were gold as well and they match the set perfectly I love the set and I'm totally obsessed. The price was amazing they're durable they're beautiful they have a nice perfect gold it's not too shiny where it looks fake and it's not too dull where it looks antique and gross it's beautiful, everything is very sharp and I love the variety that they had to choose from I may buy another kit for my mother-in-law this Christmas

Solid and attractive little set. The scissors are very sharp and the little thread tool is worth its weight in GOLD! As a new cross stitcher, I've had to remove A LOT of stitches, and this thing is way better than using my needle because it's longer and the tip is the right sharpness. It's made a frustrating process much easier. Bonus: The tin is great for holding things I'm using on my current project and I can stick my needle minder and threaders to the lid so I don't have to dig around looking for them.

Gorgeous set! Looks like the classically designed sewing notions. Needle case lid is a bit loose, and I'm honestly unsure how (what I think is) the threading needle is supposed to work, but the scissors and awl are compact without being too small, very sharp, and precise. And it all comes in a nice reusable tin. Definitely happy with the purchase!

Patina finish (similar to rose gold) is really pretty! Hubby surprised me with this gift and it's very delicate-looking while very sturdy. The needle is more for yarn projects, but can be turned into a zipper pull, etc. The tin keeps everything together for on-the-go projects. All of the items have a nice weight and shape to them - they fit in my hand well and that makes the items easy to use. I would recommend to others!

I knew going in that these were not "antique." Stainless steel is not antique and it would cost more. That said these are well made especially for the price. The tin was dented but as I got it for the tools it's not an issue. I'm glad I got this item.

I bought this for aesthetic reasons more than practical ones, but I will be able to use most of it. The scissors are sharp, and will be great for using when I embroider. The needle case is perfect for all my embroidery needles to be in one spot. The lid fits snugly. I can use the awl to make holes for cosplay corset lacing. The only thing not useful is the thimble, which not surprisingly, doesn't fit. I didn't expect it to, I've never found a thimble that fits me. I don't know what the needle shaped thing is for. The description here says it's a threader, but I can't imagine how that would work. A darning needle, maybe? It's a nice decorative piece, though. I would recommend this set for anyone who likes pretty aesthetic things when they do any kind of needle work, or just wants a sewing-based decoration. The quality is pretty good for a replica piece.

My husband purchased this for me for a Christmas gift, so I don’t actually have it yet. I am sure that I will get a lot of use out of it, as I am a quilter and hand stitcher and absolutely LOVE all and any sewing gadgets that come my way.
