This helped me get better angle when sharpening my knives compared to the wooden one l had previously that had warped and wasn't level. The holder feels pretty sturdy and quite heavy not bad for the price

Gripping
Fits and holds my Naniwa Pro sharpening stone perfectly. Grips on both stainless steel drainer and laminate kitchen worktop. Easy to recommend at this price. However, the grinding slurry that gets into all the metal parts will wear away the chrome leaving the steel prone to rust (stainless would be better but there's none available). I greased the threads before use to help resist moisture and abrasion.

Screws doesn't have inserts in them so they go directly into the rubber.. We'll see how it holds up in the long run bur in the meantime I've used a couple of times and it was solid.

Well built, exactly what you want for holding your expensive Whetstones. Smooth machining of the rods and nuts, quality rubber (no odor) of the 3 base components. If you need a stone holder, look no further.
