Winsome Morris Occasional Table, Espresso

I really like this piece. I was able to put it together quickly, in about 15 minutes, which is good since I had my three year old neighbor kid supervising me and trying to "help", so it was nice to get it done fast before the Allen wrench, washers and bolts got into the wrong hands. The table looks very nice. I think it's solid wood as the pieces have a good weight on them and are very smooth. The color is very dark, almost black, which is what I wanted so I'm good there. The baskets are nice, but my dog has been sniffing around them so I have a feeling I'll be replacing those soon if I don't keep an eye on him. Overall I would recommend this piece. Very pleased with this purchase.

It arrived on the date promised and the package looked to be in good order. (see pictures) Do have your shop vac handy because those little Styrofoam flecks are everywhere and you need to vacuum as you go. The packing seemed OK. There was one dent in the packaging which may have transferred on to the table top. I can't tell for sure. It was easy to put together, all the holes lined up and the screws fit nicely. The table is sturdy once all the screws are tightened. It comes with little rubber "feet". Put them on early in the assembly process when the legs are more easy to manipulate. Look over all of the pieces before you begin assembling and decide which pieces will be toward the front. It probably won't have two good sides. Sterilite brand plastic storage tubs fit the corn husk baskets like they were made for each other...amazing. (see pictures) Two disappointments: I slid it gently across the carpet and that chipped the top. It is rather fragile. And the lower shelf covers the top of the electrical outlet. Two thoughts The "baskets" are something else. Somebody put a lot of work in them. Brings meaning to the idea of "third world". The shipping box might come in handy if your are considering cremation sometime in the future. (always thinking about the environment you know)

Ordered this table for my upstairs hallway... needing somewhere to put all the stuff my family leaves laying around - and wanting something decent looking and functional. The table was easy to assemble - and the finish is espresso as described (very dark - borders on black). It took about 10 minutes to assemble and looks just as nice as things I've seen in retail stores. I love that it is a bit deeper than most other tables... gives it a richer look. Finish is good - with only minor flaws that weren't worth complaining about. My only complaint would be that the baskets are not of best quality - but a little hot glue gun will fix all that. Truly, for the price the table is beautiful. For $150 this table looks like a much higher priced item, but you have to expect some imperfections at that price. If you want a $400 table - you need to go buy one. If you want something that looks great, reasonably priced, solidly built go for this one!

Table is built relatively well, and looks nice. Baskets are sturdy. It's similar to Ikea quality, and the price is reasonable. Came with a chip out of the middle of the top, and I just didn't want to go through the hassle of a return. Styrofoam packing was partially pulverized inside, and sprayed all over the room when I opened the box.

I love this table. It works perfectly in our home as a doorway table to keep our radio and other knick knacks on. We use the baskets to keep things away from our toddler as well. HOWEVER, for the cost of this table, the quality was a joke. When we set up the table, it wobbled from the start. We finally figured out a way to get it to stop and noticed the middle under the baskets was bowing. All that is in the baskets are cd's and 2 xbox controllers, so I was shocked to see that it was already bowing down. The baskets are already falling apart after just a few short months as well. Pieces break off easily and fall to the floor within reach of my toddler. If this is for a kid-free home, then it's perfect. If you just use the baskets for light things or decor then it's also perfect. In terms of functionality though, the design could have been a little bit more well thought out.

I bought this table to put a reptile tank on in order to discourage our dog from obsessing's over it.... I should have believed it was as cheap and poorly made as the reviews say. First off the screws do not tighten because the material that they are screwing in to is a Paper composite and it just disintegrated upon touching it. The baskets came with broken weaves in the straw leaving big holes in them and with out any weight on the table it wobbles so bad I fear it will fall over... Unfortunately Because we are un a bind and had to have a table immediately we decided to keep it and used no less than 15 to 20 extra wood screws in order to just try and hold it together. Unfortunately I fear that the fake wood composite will eventually just give way to those screws pulling out Also shipping it back just seems like such a hassle for a 50lb box so yeah we're keeping It :( .... This table is such a giant POS and So not worth the money spent... I give it a month befor we will undoubtedly have to buy something better.... So disappointed I could cry!!!

Nice porch table to have a place to lay mail and other items while coming/going into the house. Assembly was easy and fit was perfect. Was well packaged for me, so no issues from shipping. The baskets look pretty good considering they are fold-flats - you wouldn't guess by looking at them. Happy with the purchase. The color is a very very dark brown that from afar looks close to black. Is actually real wood too.

Absolute junk! The table arrived broken. Sent it back. Received another table and it was also broken. The actual wood pieces were smashed up. The box it comes in is very flimsy and seriously inadequate. The finish on the top and legs was very blotchy. If the table wasn't broken I still wouldn't put it in my home!

This arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. One of the pieces that holds the shelf in place had come off in packaging but it was easy to reattach. The only negative is the shelf where the baskets sit is sagging just from the weight of the baskets alone. So I would not suggest anything heavy in there unless you reinforce the shelf a bit.

Sturdy, shiny.. beautiful! Quick shipping and super easy to assemble. LOVE IT!

Nice table. Just very disappointed that it was missing a basket:( Was alsoissing one of the holes to put the screws into.
