Uniformity with God's Will

The writings of St. Alphonsus have blown me away. I feel as if he is speaking directly to my soul. Almost 300 years later God knew this saint would have a profound affect on me and others. One of my favorite quotes of his is "Sickeness is the acid test of spirituality, because it discloses wether our virtue is real or a sham." When we align ourselves to God's will rather than our own, we begin to see all the great plans he has for us. Definitely worth the read, I would also suggest Dan Burke's Peace in the Storm as an accompanyment to this beautiful thelogy of the Church.

Perhaps one of the hardest things is to accept that all which is permitted is accepted to be from the hand of God. In this we find peace for our souls.

A great guide to live a life united to God's Will. A book to have to go back to for great advice to increase your love for God and His Holy Will.

Profoundly written and a clear love of the Lord. Good for times of trouble and times of gratitude to God.

I really liked this short book, it was easy to understand and read. It gave me some great ideas to ponder in prayer.

I really enjoyed this book, and it helped me to change my perspective on how I live. It was a really quick read, and I was able to finish it in one sitting. It was entertaining and enjoyable to read, but I also liked learning how the ideas being explained in the book were shown through examples in holy people. It is comforting to know that God's will is always going to be done, since the will of God is perfect and the best for every soul.

A learn thr great lesson on enjoying every situation in life

I love hardcover books as they tend to hold up better. As a shorter book, less than 40 pages...probably will go with a softcover in the future. Excellent and fulfilling read and the printing was satisfactory.

I refer to this book sometimes as the "key to happiness". This will change your outlook on life in general!
