Topdon obd2 code reader, Black, AL200

Got it during a lighting deal just in time right after the Check Engine Light on my car came on (that’s not supposed to happen for another 40,000km). Easy to use. Don’t even waste your time reading the manual as I did. Just insert the car key and turn it to the On position, plug this gadget into the data port, press Enter for Read Codes! That’s all there is to it. Got my error code right the way as: Cylinder 1 Misfire (See attached picture). It saved me lot of time and headaches from trying to figure out what’s really wrong with my car from a multitude of possible causes, and hundreds of $ just on the 1rst use by not having to bring my car to the dealer’s garage. Only have to replace the spark #1 plug and the ignition coil with cheap aftermarket parts. After the fix, I used this gadget the 2nd time to erase the error codes and turn off the Check Engine Light. Would recommend it 100% if you just need a basic tool to find out the error codes, fix the problems and erase the codes on your car.

Does the job easy to use and at a good price

Did my research before purchasing the product for Mini Cooper as I wanted to investigate the EML light on the dashboard unfortunately when I tried to use the scanner and plugged it into the OBD port all it kept saying check if it OBD 2 complaint I think top don should warn customers doesn’t work on a lot of older vehicles customer support we’re helpful up to a point quoting warranty and return information but no more however the customer service representative I contacted has spent time responding to requests for assistance and obtaining technical support on my behalf so they have done everything they can the product itself I would not rate as highly

Great value little tool, I used it to see the engine temps on my car and it was very easy to do construction seems solid too, Would recomend!
