Amazing Experience
I've been using the Légère Reeds Premium Synthetic Woodwind Reed (Signature, Strength 2.00) for almost two years now, and it has truly transformed my saxophone playing experience. After years of using traditional cane reeds, the switch to this synthetic reed has been amazing. One of the standout features is how soft and easy it is to play. It allows me to produce clear, consistent tones effortlessly, making practice sessions smoother and more enjoyable. Unlike cane reeds, the Légère reed requires no pre-soaking, so it's ready to go straight out of the box, which saves time and hassle. I also appreciate the durability—over time, it holds up well without the typical wear and tear associated with cane reeds. This reed has provided me with consistent performance for a much longer period than I ever experienced with wood reeds. While everyone’s preferences may vary, for me, this reed has been an excellent fit. It’s reliable, responsive, and easy to play, and I highly recommend it to other saxophonists looking for a reed that combines convenience and quality.

Fantastic sound - Pick up and play!
I don't need to presoak? I can just pick up and play?? I typically play saxophone along with some other instruments with looping and recording. Having a wooden reed meant I'd have to stop everything to get it back up and running. With these I can set it down for hours and pick it right back up. The sound is great. Not the same as a natural reed, but I'm very happy with it.

Excellent choice for longevity.
I'm a music teacher; ukulele, guitar, piano, and drums. I played sax in middle school and just picked the sax up again after a 40-year hiatus. I've been playing the Rico reeds, 2.0. They are fine. This is huge step up. One note... the Legere 2.0 and the Rico 2.0 are not the same strength. The Legere is more like a Rico 2.5. So, be prepared for some shorter practice sessions until the muscles get stronger.

These are a great improvement over cane reeds
I play alto sax and clarinet in a jazz band. Cane reeds are a constant struggle for sax and clarinet players. When I buy a box of cane reeds -even the higher priced ones- I had to throw away half of them and struggle with most of the others. Usually only 1/3 or 1/2 are suitable for use, and those wear out. On the rare occasions that I would find a cane reed that responded comfortably I would protect it like gold. A fellow band member-- a music teacher with far more experience than I have-- recommended these reeds. I was a bit discouraged by the price, but they are definitely worth it. I bought two alto sax reeds of somewhat different strengths because I was not sure which strength was best for me. Answer: they both are great. One is a little stronger than the other but both play very well. I really didn't need to buy both. They come out of the box and the case ready to use, no trimming necessary. They respond well with good volume control at high and low ranges. It isn't necessary to moisten the reed before playing. That is a great advantage if you have to switch instruments while performing. You don't have time to wet a cane reed when you have only a measure or two to switch from from one horn to another. I heartily recommend these. The investment is a bit more than cane reeds, but one of these will last far longer than a whole boxful of cane reeds. They are well worth the price.

Will never go back to cane reeds!
I love Legere Reeds! I will never go back to cane reeds. I currently use these reeds on my soprano, alto, and tenor saxes. They are consistent in performance and quality and produce a great tone with little resistance. They are truly responsive to dynamics too. Gone are the days of having only two or three good cane reeds out of a case of 10. I highly recommend!

That feels amazing, that plays amazing and it is reliable. I tried fibracell before and never liked it. It was buzzy, and definately killing my vibe. But this legere is just so good. I can get the sounds that i want without effort(after breaking in the reed for 4 days). And from now on, I will always get the same response for an incredible amount of time! :) For info , i am pro. I play jazz, gypsy jazz, and balkanic klezmerish music. Funny fact, i use it for alto sax. It is a buescher aristocrat 140 from 1930s. But my mouthpiece is 3d printed from SYOS and I have that plastic reed from legere on it. Dont be fooled, it sounds really woody and subtle!

Excelente caña la verdad, los agudos son ligeramente complicados al principio, pero fuera de eso es buenísima. A diferencia de la American cut el color es mas brillante, me gusta mas para repertorio clásico.
