Really good for making keyboard controllers wireless
This device works really well, it’s easy to connect with a computer or iPad. I believe it can also be connected to android tablets. You do need to purchase wires, unless you already have some shown in picture and I bought a small battery pack that just lasts forever running this small gadget Works really well for me when creating music on the go. No latency at all, as far as I can tell so very pleased. The only thing I would say is, it’s a bit pricey.

Actually worth the silly price.
It works beautifully, I never noticed the latency at all. After initial setup it connects seamlessly by itself as soon as you add power. It is tiny but seems well made. Very happy.

WIDI Uhost I nearly sent it back but, I'm glad that I didn't.
WIDI Uhost I nearly sent it back because I couldn't get it to connect via Settings, Bluetooth. Then after searching the web I cracked it. To make it work with my MacBook Pro go to, Applications, Utilities, Audio MIDI Setup app and select MIDI Studio, Open Bluetooth Configuration... and it's right there. You'll need to install the app on your phone to fine tune and apply any updates. The device works very well, install and forget. It has a magnet built into the back for convenient attaching to metal surfaces, and a metal disk with 3M adhesive pad for attaching to a plastic surface. I like it, though it's horrendously expensive, so only four stars otherwise five.

Great dongle for improving bluetooth midi with my Mac
I've been using bluetooth midi to send midi from a Widi Master to my M1 Mac. All worked great but, often, I could notice some delays and note dropped notes (especially when playing fast parts). I read this is because MacOS does not prioritize bluetooth midi processing (among the many processes the computer is running). So, I got this Widi Uhost to handle the bluetooth midi to USB conversion instead. This means that, to my Mac M1, it's like if I had a usb midi cable plugged to it. It works great! It paired with my Widi Master (make sure the Widi master is set to "peripheral") and no more delays or dropped notes. As always, fast delivery from Amazon!

Highly recommend,! Very impressed with both the Widi Uhost and the CME company that manufactures it!
I purchased the CME Widi Uhost to allow my Boss Katana 100 Mk II amp to connect to the Boss Katana Librarian in addition to the Tone Studio which I was already using. The unit arrived timely and is a great design being small and compact and instruections were easy to use to set it up. It paired with my iPhone 14 via thier Widi Uhost app when connected to the Katana with a USB B to USB C cable and powered using my iPhone's charger. However, after downloading the Librairian it would not connect to the amp after updating the unit's USB and Firmware to v0.2.2.4 so I contacted CME who were extremely helpful and adivsed to downgrade to the previous v0.2.2.1 which worked perfectly. CME's developers will now find the issue and release a fix in due course. I would highly recommned this unit to anyone needing to connect to their Katana 50 or 100 Mk II as well as using the device for any Midi keyboards etc. 5 Stars CME

Excellent for wireless MIDI on a PC.
A little tricky to set up, but CME provided first class support and it was well worth the effort. The unit performs extremely well and provides all the expected functionality. I highly recommend it.

No latency discernable and easy to use
I really like this, used with a widi jack to connect a midi keyboard to my Linux system. It sets itself up when you power on, visible to Linux without any faff and no discernable latency.

Too expensive
It works as it should and I'm happy with it. I bought my one less then a year ago for £31 and wanted to buy another one until I found out that they are £59 now. That is an increase of £28. I don't how they can justify such a price hike.

If you own a Donner DDP-80 and use an iPad (9th Generation) for lessons like Piano Marvel, this is the solution you need. We switched to this because the iPad 9th Gen only has one port; using this Bluetooth adapter allows us to connect the piano and charge the iPad at the same time. The Highlights: Zero Latency: I was worried about a delay between hitting a key and the iPad registering it, but the response is instant. There is no noticeable lag. Visual Feedback: A blue light on the WIDI flashes with every keystroke, confirming the signal is active. Cleaner Setup: It removes the bulky USB cable between the piano and tablet. Children broke a few of these... The Trade-offs: Price: A bit pricey for an adapter. Power: It requires its own separate power cable to stay active. Note: This is an honest review based on my personal experience; I am not affiliated with the company and this is not a paid advertisement. Quick Setup Guide: App First: Download the CME WIDI app. Pairing: Hold the small button on the side of the device to connect via Bluetooth. Firmware: Use the app to run the firmware updates. Important: There are two separate updates to complete! Launch Lessons (App): Open Piano Marvel. It detects the device automatically and works perfectly. It’s an investment, but it’s the best way to keep the iPad charged during long practice sessions on the DDP-80.
