Worked better than I expected, I've never used this style of crimper before, but after doing so all my past works with your run-of-the-mill crimp/wire stripper combo pliers has been 2nd guessed. Super easy to use & the connection that's made is *solid. The included heat-shrink butt connectors are high quality, the casing doesn't puncture when crimping, & the adhesive is great. They took a little more heat than I thought they would, but you can visibly tell when you've applied enough - the glue will start to protrude past the connector slightly. Highly recommend.

Exactly what I was looking for.

Have used quite a few of these and the only difference between them and the more expensive ones is the heat shrink takes more heat than it should. They also don’t ozze goo like the pricey ones, but they are still sealed. The crimping tool works good, wish they sold refill packs for the box instead of just buying a new kit.

The included crimper works very well and is solid construction. I expect it to last for many years. Splices worked well, heat shrunk fairly easily, and did have enough glue to provide a waterproof connection. Great for under hood or boat/RV/trailer mods. The included case is also pretty substantial and not something to toss and then have to find something else to store this kit in. I recommend and would buy again.

This is actually the second set I’ve bought! I now have one for the truck and one for the boat. Works as expected!
