great camera cool features, like that it connects to the gopro app. i accidentally recorded under water with a mod on and the camera turned off, didnt work for months and now it turns on but the lcd screen no longer works. dont dunk into water if the charging port or battery is exposed i learned quickly lol. great camera tho that was just my bad

Came on time, works as promised, good video quality and good battery life. Everything was included that I needed. No complaints.

I got this for my birthday or Christmas years ago, and finally got around to using it for my new fishing Youtube channel. I've used it probably 20 times and each time it's rolling for at least a few hours at a time, but most of the time it's on for like 10 hours. I have a great system, which includes a bunch of batteries and sd cards. I've had no problems with it overheating or not working. I've had no issues with footage randomly disappearing or being corrupted. I've used it in cold, high wind and rain conditions in November, as well as straight 90° sunlight in the summer. Not to say those things can't or won't happen, but so far so good. I've been using this camera consistently about 4 months now, and I love it. Ordered another for my friend for Christmas so we can both record on our adventures. PS: the channel is PierMichiganFishing and second channel is PMF Creek

I bought this for vacation at South Padre. I had read some people's reviews about it leaking so I bought a waterproof case to go with it (as well as a wrist and hand mount). I used the waterproof case during the times that I knew it would be submerged under water (in the ocean, at the waterpark). I did not use the case for times where it might just get splashed (parasailing, etc). Overall, I had no issues. Battery life isn't the best but that is the standard complaint among all of these type of cameras so I bought extra batteries. The battery/memory card compartment is difficult to open but that is expected if you want a waterproof seal. It is much simpler to use than my GoPro 4.

While the camera is pretty sweet, all works as expected, the battery life may be longer than the hero 8, but you'll want 2 or more batteries if you're going to be filming more than an hour or so. It drains pretty fast even just fiddling with the menu, faster at filming anything 2.7K and up. The touch screen is a but frustrating, but it's small - so expected. The App makes it much easier to operate your camera.... but then you have to fiddle with your phone AND your cam. This is the Ecommerce package, so it's stripped down. You get the camera, the battery, and a 9" or so cable, and a helmet mount. The booklet is a bunch of warnings in a bunch of languages, but no usage instructions at all. No carry case or memory card. Which is fine since it doesn't say it's included, but the retail packaging does include some of those things. You will be left to watch Youtube videos and what not to learn how to use the camera. It's pretty versatile and has a lot of option settings so worth it - but this should REALLY come with a print manual. You can get the PDF on the GoPro website.

Simple and easy to use. I was surprised with the image quality and different camera focal points available. The extra settings it comes with is just the icing on the cake. I used a suction cup accessory and put it on my car and I was pleased with the quality of the camera. The 1 and half hour battery is fine with me. It saves videos every 10 minutes which is neat data loss feature.

works well have used it at work ti take training videos and pictures fir newer guards. Will try it when i go to the Bahamas and snorkel this camera did great in the waters; but watch the youtube videos to set it up for water so u dont get the green look in your videos.
