This is a very good quality light. I bought this product to hang it in my patio or in the front porch wherever it works best. I ordered black color light box thinking it would look great with anything and it looked awesome then I expected. These lights are very attractive and bright. Great for the price and quality. Since it is waterproof there is no need of worrying about if the rain will damage the wire and all. It took some mounting work to install them, some drilling of holes. The installation process was not simple but not as that complicated as people have discussed in their comments. If you have some ideas about how to drill and where to drill that would take care of the install process. If you are someone who leaves your porch or backyard light on throughout the night, then this is it. It gives a shuttle look. I love the fact that it has adjustable angle so that way you can turn it in any direction of your choice. It was worth the money! I will be advertising it to my family and friends. Definitely buy this light again.

I purchased a couple of these lights to help modernize the exterior of my home. They look great and provide a surprising amount of light. They were relatively easy to install, but if you are using them to replace an existing porch light, You may find as I did that you will need to likely caulk and patch part of the hole from the previous light that was installed, as these lights are a bit smaller than the average porch light.

Praise: 1. I intend to buy this light again. 2. Dark Sky Friendly - i.e. it directs light down where you need it; not pointlessly shining into the sky. 3. ECO friendly - LED. 4. Good quality feel and finish. But: 1. Agonizing installation includes tiny new fangled wire connectors that require a micro screwdriver, small loose screws to attach fixture, outdoors, where if you drop tiny parts in leaves or ground....; loose floppy gasket impossible to put in place; note the ground wire! Apparent afterthought. The shorter wire inside fixture. 2. Recommend using a tube of gasket sealant to seal fixture.

These are great lights in theory. They are the larger model and cover the standard hexagon exterior junction boxes in Canada. Unfortunately I bought these a while back but just got to install them in December. 3 months later, 1 of these lights has stopped working.

To give an idea of the product quality level, we actually had our painting contractor match the gray color of the light fixture to the house paint, when his team was getting ready to do the job. There are 7 installed for surround deck lighting at our beach house in the Hamptons. Visually, they disappear in the daytime , but give great up & down illumination at night. This is an exceptional product, very well conceived and engineered. We are both designers, technical and artistic. These are great lights!

These look great, from a distance. There are big issues with them though. They are not designed to North American electrical safety standards. They appear to be intended to be used directly mounted to a wall with a bare wire running into the fixture. Perhaps this is the way they install things where these are made, but particularly if you live in the USA, you will have a hard time adapting these for use with a normal wall box. They are not impossible to use, but most wall boxes are round these are square and they come with round mounting plates. That means that you will see some of the circle behind the square. That also means that your will have some challenge sealing the gaps around the fixture. If it is in a covered location that would be even better. Also the 4.7" model covers up much better then the smaller version which doesn't really work at all unless you happen to have really small boxes. Also, because the connection is made inside a little box and the the light is mounted it will probably take 2 people and some patience to mount it. Overall I think they are worth the under $20 I paid for them. They just aren't really ready for a plug and play replacement with any existing normal fixtures, which is too bad, they could easily be designed slightly differently and they would be awesome. Light quality is good, they are installed under an eaves so they don't get any direct exposure and they seem to wearing well for the 5 summer months I've had them installed.

These look fabulous, very bright at night. Added them to our HOA condo complex. Great that you can direct them down on the stairs or both directions in the common areas. Constant positive feedback from owners and visitors. We will see how long they last as they are on all night. Difficult to install as others pointed out. Required an adapter in multiple cases. Our wall holes were also larger than the cube in some places so we've had to find...creative solutions...for hiding that.

Nice lights! Give a cool light pattern on your house. The light is not too white, and they are cool to the touch. I bought an extra one in case one goes bad down the road. That way, I won't have to look for an exact replacement, and at the price, a spare is affordable. The manufacturer could really add a nice touch by making these lights dimmable. Then, they would be absolutely perfect.
