I couldn’t get regular 3/8 ratchet heads to bite in the pipe plug. So I ordered this set and it bite right away and I was able to extract it fairly easily.

I bought these for occasional use on pipe plugs like changing oil on lawnmower. Rather than fumbling around with an adjustable wrench and stripping the corners off these work perfectly. Quality price are good for occasional use and comparable to average part store tool quality. If you’re buying for all day every day heavy impact use you might want to go with a professional brand like Sunex.

I only needed the one socket for my Drain plug on my snowmobile chaincase but was cheaper to buy the whole set than the one socket. Good price and works fine.
