The best thing about this garlic, other than its superior flavor and freshness, is the fact that it is NOT FROM CHINA. China has the most polluted ground water probably of any country in the world. Only 15% of China's groundwater is considered fit for human uses. No food sourced from China enters my body! Check your apple juice! Much of it comes from China including Mott's. The country of origin is embossed on the bottom of the bottle. I once got frozen broccoli from China being sold at Sam's Club. It was absolutely inedible. That was the turning point for me and I don't knowingly eat any food originating in China.

This is the best garlic powder I've gotten. Smells great, tastes great. Tip: Put in your food near the end of cooking to get the most flavor. If you put it in while cooking the heat tends to subdue the taste.

I love to put granulated garlic in scrambled eggs, hamburgers, and other recipes where I just don't want to go to the trouble of mincing fresh garlic. It has a good, strong garlicky taste. That said, this giant container will last me a year. I was using another brand that came in a smaller size, and after I was away from home for a few months it became one solid unusable mass and I had to discard it. I hope this one survives better.
