Good purchase. Maintenance replacement after buying parts for self repair of factory recall item. Quality filter. Fit well. Still going strong. Regardless of manufacturer recommendation, change your transmission filter and fluid on a regular basis.

The product is a Motorcraft filter in factory plastic packaging. It is the correct size and fit for a 2016 F150 and functions as intended. Installation is easy for the part after removing the entire transmission pan, the filter does fit loose in the transmission body. It is a Motorcraft filter so pricing is as expected. My only complaint is that Amazon chose to put this in a paper envelope with no padding or protection for shipment. The bottom pickup, made of metal, cut through the plastic packaging and paper envelope. Luckily, it wasn't bent or damaged. Likewise the tube with filter that inserts into the transmission body had rubbed through the plastic packaging. Given that this is plastic, there was a high risk of it being broken. Ironically, the same day I had a package of fishing swivels delivered in a cardboard box. The packaging for the two should have been reversed.
