I love it. Managed to put 2 paddle board kits, 3 foldable beds, 3 chairs and bunch of other small junk into it. Easy to set up, easy to take down. Was worried about noise from straps at speed, but there wasn't any. Went to Pembrokeshire and back to Northampton. Had a bit of rain, but none got inside. Best part it's compact when not in use and universal fit, so if I change car I don't need to buy new fittings like with a roof box.

Bought this as we had several UK trips booked and car space is limited with 2 young children. Very impressed with the sturdiness and quality of the material and the ease to attach to the car. It also has a large capacity which is great. Very good product. Very satisfied

We drove over 600 miles through storms and rain and the bag was great. Easy to use and a lot stronger than I thought it was going to be. Obviously, you have to take it down every night of you're parking in public, but it took very little time to put it on every morning and when we arrived it folded up into a small bag that came with it, so you're not left with a box / roof rack. Very happy with the purchase and made a big difference to our holiday as we were able to bring three extra massive holdalls in the bag, which gave us loads of space in the car to relax.

This roof bag is a perfectly good alternative to a roof box and matches the description perfectly. I bought quickly as I found I needed the capacity unexpectedly. This seemed a great value for money option in an emergency. I found the installation easy, I used roof bars in my case. Unlike other reviews, I used this bag in lashing rain from start to finishing of a long journey without any sign of leakage at all. The bag seemed secure using fittings, I used a couple of extra straps for peace of mind. The bag itself seems very robust. Two things to consider, there is no lock on the bag so if leaving unattended you may need a small padlock. Also, I have a BMW and the books did not fit on my doors, so I had to also get roof bars to attach the bag to the car which I needed anyway. The roof bag and anti- slip mat fit into a storage bag provided which is the size of a back pack.

I was really sceptical about this product and didn’t think it would live up to the hype. This is honestly a massively underrated product, it was so easy to assemble and provided so much storage. I had put a few suitcases and a large pram and it still had so much more room left. It was so easy to secure the load and none of it moved in transit. I would definitely recommend this product.

I wasn't sure about buying this as I'd been advised that it might dent my car roof but I had no such problem after a trip around Europe. Instead of paying around £700 for roof bars and a roof box, getting this for under £100 felt great. It's well worth the little bit of extra work to deal with the straps and the zip, and when it's not needed it folds away into a small bag. I definitely recommend this over a roof box.

It was our first time with this bag so was very careful and hopeful that it will last us atleast few trips unfortunately zip broke on it luckily it was on last day of our trip had to buy bungie ropes to wrap complete bag in bungie ropes and prayed for no rain thank fully we made it home but it was not worth the stress at all

Wir haben diese Box für unseren Familienurlaub (Anfahrt mit Auto) bestellt, da nicht alles in den Kofferraum passte. Waren etwas skeptisch, ob alles an Ort und Stelle bleiben würde. Unsere Skepsis war schnell dahin, die Box kann man gut festmachen und es verrutscht wirklich gar nichts. Wir sind immer zwischen 120 und 140 km/h gefahren und das war absolut kein Problem. Auch dem Regen hat sie stand gehalten, es wurde im Inneren nichts nass. Wir sind mehr als zufrieden und wollen diese Box nicht mehr für Urlaube mit dem Auto missen.

Il prodotto più bello che io abbia mai comprato. Ho fatto un viaggio di più di 500 kilometri in autostrada anche a 130km/h e non ha fatto una piega stabile e ben sigillato. Con dentro 2 valige medie una grande un borsone grande e altri 3 zaini, super capiente. Da togliere ci vogliono due secondi e anche in vacanza la macchina rimane libera. Consiglio vivamente

Ordered this cargo bag last minute for a family road trip. We live in a small apartment with limited storage so storing a cargo box would be an issue. The bagmate was low cost yet heavily durable, easy to setup and strap to our Subaru which already has roof rails. No issues on the road travelling at 110kms per hour. When not in use, its easy to fold up into its little carry bag and store in the boot of the car. Highly recommend.

We are extremely grateful for this excellent product. It made the “impossible” possible. We are a military family in the middle of a permanent change of station. With this car top carrier, we packed up our household goods and sent them on a truck to be delivered at our new duty station. Then we loaded our Kia Sorento and traveled from Oklahoma to Utah to pick up our college daughter from her freshman year at school. Inside the Rhino BagMate alone, we fit 1 Checked-bag-sized suitcase, 1 carry-on-sized suitcase, 2 XL duffel bags, 3 regular-sized duffel bags, 1 large overnight bag, 6 winter coats and 2 backpacks. In the Kia itself we then were able to fit a 🐶Saint Bernard with his giant e-collar and huge food bin, 3 teenagers, 2 adults, 5 additional personal bags/backpacks, & 4 pillows. We went from Utah to Arizona to visit Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. Then we drove to our new station in Florida. WITH all the stuff listed above including the dog. Military life. Crazy. But possible with the car top carrier! If we felt there was a higher-than-normal risk of thievery, we put the BagMate inside the vehicle overnight. It was a bit of a pain to do that extra step at night after a long day of travel, but we managed ok. Don’t hesitate to purchase! One thing we were hesitant about was detaching the rubber seal on the door to get the loop attached, but once we committed to it we didn’t have a problem. If we can figure out how to use it and drive that far without a problem, most people can! We’re not super experienced with gear like this but we figured it out. This BagMate made our trip possible!
