Scotty #455 Bait Board, No Mount

Great board. Lots of spots for things. Not sure about durability. Not sure on weight strength, but I'm not worried,it's a Scotty product!

Durable, washable, and versatile. Had to purchase the Scotty #429 gear head extender arm but it fit perfect in my Old Town Predator Angler socket mounts. Holds my bait, cell phone, fish finder and has ability to adjust to multiple positions and hold that position when locked.

This is a substantial tray and the same thickness of all Scotty plastics. That means it is of high quality and should last through all of your adventures, but I found it almost a little too thick for this application. The tray seems stable, but heavy for the rotating arm and I have found myself more just using this loose on my lap rather than mounting it as I intended (and bought the other stuff to do).

This is a great little product. Its very tough feeling and I do not expect durability to ever be an issue. I just started buying Scotty products and am so far very impressed, however, it would be nice if they included a little more mounting hardware with the accessories. For example, the cup holder came with self driving screws and the camera mount came with nuts and bolts that did not fit into the cutting board without modification. I think standardizing it as a nut and bolt connection and including everything you need with the cutting board would really make this product a grand slam. Really, i think they should sell the board, long arm, and other accessories all in one kit with all of the mounting hardware you need. With that said, this is a great product and only takes a trip to the hardware store to grab a few extra screws to make things work.

great bait cutting table on my Hobie ProAngler 14-360. Fits into Scotty mounts can move board around kayak as needed provided a mount is installed in the locations. EZ to clean.

I definitely recommend this item to anyone that may need it . I use it to cut up shad . My knife with leather sheath fits perfect in the top square hole thing . I honestly expected this tray to wobble a little or have some sort of play . But no ,Not at all! I do 55 on the water and the thing is better than I expected . Zero movement . I procrastinated buying this item for 6 months and I don’t know why it’s amazing ! If you use cut bait it’s way worth it . Keeps all the nastiness off the boat . ! Hope this helps. These are so low that I can't use it in the mount in front of me. My son can use his as his mount is a little further away and his legs are smaller. Nicely made, just need to figure out how I can get it to work for me.
