I rarely ever write reviews but after using this product felt compelled to do so. I’ve been conditioning and weight training for over 35 years during which I've tried all types of supplements and am very discerning about what I take and conservative with my praise. This product was recommended to me by a friend whose opinion I value highly regarding supplements and training. I take it as directed before my workout. I purchased the Orange Tangerine which mixed easily with water. If you let it sit be sure to remix it to maintain an even flavor. Speaking of flavor it does not have that after taste you get from artificial sweeteners used to cover up the taste which I personally dislike. Soon after taking it I feel noticeably energized and can say it has a very clear affect on my training. As I have gotten older I have found that I have to shorten my training sessions to maintain the intensity level I require to make gains and not just stay fit. I can mentally push past the wall and get more out but my body is not always able to keep up. If my intensity does not stay high I am really just wasting energy, time, and actually hurting gains. Also as I get older my body takes longer to recover so I can’t train a body part as often if I want that powerful workout I desire. This product has helped with both aspects of my training. I find myself energized at the start and throughout my routine. A significant boost in energy allowing me to complete my workout with full drive keeping a fast pace with high intensity. At any age this would give you the boost you need to push yourself harder. What I did not expect was the improvement in my ability to recover. This in addition to my my protein intake has improved my recuperation time. Not that it matters but want to point out that I am not vegan but feel this is the best pre workout supplement I have taken. What is important is that though I eat properly and get my share of protein I feel that this offers me BCAA’s in just the right amount at the time I need it most to maximize energy and recovery resulting in the greatest gains. So certainly not just for those on a healthy plant based diet. What else does one look for but the best gains from all the hard work we put in. This helps me achieve just that.

It does not taste very pleasant, but as far as bad tasting pre-workout substances go, this one is not too bad.

I have reduced taking Beachbody Energize And replaced it with this Truth preworkout powder. Truth has 1 gram sugar and also has Tyrosine which helps me with my auto immune Hashimotos Thyroid situation. It also has a N acetyl Tyrosine which is an amino acids to help with concentration,attention, motivation and helps improve memory. Take it 60 minutes before a stressful event whether workout or any other stressful life event.I really like the ingredients in Truth like the BCAA(branch chain amino acid) which help muscle recovery ,repair and muscle endurance and and feel great and energized after I take it. I weight lift and do lots of different cardio being a certified Tabata Bootcamp instructor. The orange tangerine tastes so yummy like that Tang drink but without all the bad stuff. It has 150 mg of caffeine from organic coffee beans. It has 100 mg of quercetin which is anti inflammatory antioxidant and reduces inflammation and I won’t go into detail how it helps with controlling blood sugar. I just which It wish was higher like 500 mg that beach body Energize has but you can’t always get what you want..haha.Price is good. I have it auto deliver. I like the blood orange better than the lemon flavor. Update:.12/16/24 Truth has changed the quality and taste of the 3rd downgrade Pre workout drink. Added maltodextrin and has a weird flavor. And more caffeine. The canister is black now instead of white. Gone is the original flavor after a 7 month or more backorder. I won’t buy it anymore.

So, since this product is labeled TRUTH, I'm gonna tell it. I have never written a review on anything before, until now, because I have never felt the need as strongly as I do right now. I am actually SUPER disappointed in the flavors of the Truth products I purchased (tangerine pwo and the watermelon bcaas). I'm also EXTREMELY disappointed in those who wrote reviews for this product, claiming that the flavors were AMAZING and giving the product 5 stars!! I have a lot of questions running through my mind about everyone who posted reviews. One being...do you guys even have taste buds??? The Tangerine flavor is NOT amazing. Not. At. All. I don't mind the subtle, light, tangerine flavor at the beginning. Sadly, the after taste you get tastes just like actual vomit, and I'm not being overly dramatic. I was SO bummed!! I keep trying it different ways, adding more water, less water, ice...my taste buds still keep whincing and crying out "Don't drink anymore! It tastes like throw up!!" My husband actually tried to talk me out of buying this brand because of the lack of reviews and I convinced him to get this one based on the ingredients as well as all the positive reviews! I feel like an idiot for not trusting him! I am a health conscious woman, who is trying hard to find GOOD, CLEAN products to help me perform. It's hard, in the weightlifting/CrossFit industry to find products with CLEAN ingredients and products that aren't loaded with caffeine, sucralose, erythritol, and all the other crap!! I was SO excited when I saw the ingredients for these products. Clean. Simple. GOOD! All the good things you need to feed your muscles and body during intense training. Great job on that end! TRUTH: You guys need to seriously test the flavors out and try again! Maybe create new samples to hand out and get legit feedback from a WIDE variety of people, because the flavors need some help! Hopefully, you guys will take this truthful review to heart and workout the flavor kinks and come out with a "New and Improved" product. I promise, I did not come on here to be a troll. I'm not a mean person. I'm not a trash talker. I just really felt the need to voice what I feel to be the truth about this product.
