Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen Sheer Lotion Body, SPF 50+ 3 oz.

I’ve pitched this product several times. Live in a warm climate so I use sunscreen frequently. We also boat and are on the beach a lot and it protects me all day being out in the sun. Other sunscreen products have made me breakout in a rash but not this. I have never gotten a sunburn when I use this and I don’t need to reapply. It works for hours even if I’ve been in the water or sweating. The other great thing is that it is safe for the coral reefs so when I’m in the ocean I’m not putting harmful chemicals in the water. The only con is it does make your skin a little white while wet at first but that doesn’t bother me. I’ve had skin cancer already and would rather have my sunscreen make me a little white over getting more skin cancer.

First and foremost, there is a cast. When you first put it on it's jarringly white lol. But it rubs in really well after a while. My forearms are tan vs everywhere else on my body (I'm pale everywhere else) so the there was indeed a light blue cast on my forearms. But everywhere else looked great, definitely sheer. Kind of heavy on the skin though, despite it being a liquid consistency, so if thick texture bothers you, it might not be for you. Otherwise, great protection, and sheer enough to work for me. My arms get the most sun and burns so I can deal with a slight cast if it means I can protect myself as much as I can from skin cancer. 5/5.

My husband is dark skinned and was tired of using my pastey thick white sunscreen for my fair skin. He gets hot really quickly and thick oily paste didn't feel comfortable on hot days even if he was in and out of the water. I got this for him and he loved how light it was. It's white out of the tube and quickly disappears on the skin. We also both tested it after playing in the Southern California shore break waves which can hit hard and wash off your SPF. We reapplied once after the ocean and never experienced a burn. I love this product now too.

Love love this!! Must rub in good, but then it is clear and not the white haze some mineral ss does! Working in yard in tx heat all day no burn! Pool for hours and only had to apply once. Great sunscreen

It is much easier to apply than the regular one, but leaves a greasy feeling and look on my skin. No matter how much I try to rub it. If my hands are too cold, then it is harder to rub it in, and get rid of the ashy/chalky look. Besides that, it works great, no sunburns so far.

I love this stuff (and it’s version for faces). We live in an area with high iron content in the water and most sun blocks leave orange stains on anything laundered. Not Blue Lizard. Even more importantly, it really, really works as a sun block. I just wish the lid worked better. The flip cap almost always leaks and after being opened, I would never put it in my suitcase without first bagging it. Not a problem with the face version that has a much better screw on lid.

Only sunscreen I can wear on my face without eye sensitivity. I also don’t need to apply moisturizer at all since this has it. I am super outdoorsy in Arizona and reapply during long bike rides. Never experienced any burns or tans with this on. I can even rub over my eyes, and no burning eyes. It does give more shine to my face than the non-sheer I buy for my body, but I guess that is the style today instead of the matte sunscreen I have used.

Was in the sun all day for concert event and did not burn. Goes on clear once rubbed in (purchased sheer product). I like the fact that it is also reef friendly. Great product, will purchase again.
