Needed These to Attach Coho Trailer To Fat Bike
I purchased this Ballz thru axle so I could pull my Coho trailer with my fat bike. I feel this item is over priced which is reflected in the star rating. The process of determining the correct size is difficult. One thing that is worth mentioning is the thru axle is not a quick release and in order to get the wheel off a 17mm wrench is necessary. So I have taken to carrying a wrench of this size in case I get a flat. Hope this helps.

The Perfect Length Thru Axle With a Couple of Issues
The length of this thru axle is not 197MM, it is much longer. The 197 refers to the lock nut to lock nut dimension of the axle. I purchased this to replace my rear axle so I can attach my Burley Coho cx Cargo Trailer. The overall dimension is longer because it extends beyond the rear drop outs so the Burley Ballz thread and tighten on the outer surface of the rear drop outs. I am concerned about the plastic material that the balls are made of. I consider it light duty but time will tell. So if you are reading this and you are trying to figure out the Burley Ballz sizing guide follow the directions found on the Burley website even if it makes no sense. Better yet measure the length of your stock thru axle and determine the thread pitch then call Burley and ask for guidance.This item is made in China and my experience with the Burley Coho XC and the accessories has been average to far below average. I don’t feel confident recommending these Burley products.

It does what it is suppose to do. Fits a 2019 Argon 18 Dark Matter.
