LavaLock® Food Safe BBQ Grade Adhesive Grill Smoker High Temp RTV Silicon - Clear 3 Ounce

I used this food-safe glue on a waffle iron that developed a small crack. The crack was not on the actual waffle plates but in the surrounding housing. Because the appliance reaches approximately 350 degrees Fahrenheit it was necessary to find a glue that was not only food safe but could withstand high heat and this product met both requirements. The included nozzle cap allows the correct size opening to be created so the correct amount can be dispensed. Allow to dry for 24 hours before use. I have used the waffle iron twice since making the repair and so far no issues.

Product is mostly simple to use but wear gloves because it is not good to get on your hands. The tube popped open and started leaking silicone as I was working with it. Did the job well enough but might have to touch up over time.

I use this to reinstall a chimney on my hearth oven that had fallen off. I've had this hearth oven for years and was concerned about using just any old sealant to reinstall the chimney. I didn't want it to admit fumes that would cause grief relating to food and so I found this option. It was very easy to use and apply and appears to have left a very reliable seal on the chimney, especially in high wind. I'm glad that I made this purchase and I feel confident that it will last a very long time.

I used this to glue a 1/4" rope gasket inside a barbecue that had major leaks. A 1/8" bead worked beautifully and had just the right tackiness after application to hold the gasket material in place while allowing minor adjustments.

My favorite air fryer started to collect liquid stains between the heat proof interior &exterior glass windows. I was unable to clean the fryer and concerned about the possibility of bacteria potentially causing 😳 illness so I stopped using the fryer. I began doing research and found this product that matched all my requirements for effectively allowing me to clean the glass, reseal them. I have used the air fryer more than a half dozen uses and am happy to report No Problems! The stains seen in the picture are ones I couldn't remove.

The actual silicone is fine. However the tube it is packaged in fell apart 20sec I to use! The entire bottom end of "toothpaste" style tube opened amd spilled the entirety of product out a d ruined all of the product I wasn't going to use in this application. I had to HURRY through trying to salvage enough to secure my oven door before it was all a total loss amd ruined by air exposure. Was a total waste of 90% of the tube. Packaging is trash amd way too delicate for intended use. Also had a cured portion right at novel opening when initially opened for first time amd had to dig it out.
