Dennerle Shrimp King Mineral 1.59 oz - Supplementary Food for Ornamental Shrimps - for the Prevention of Moulting Problems

Ummm... my mystery & ramshorn snails go CRAZY for these (& the other Dennerle snail stixx I bought - same review.. because they love them both!) They shipped quickly. Plus, I got free samples with my order! Seriously, my snails go crazy for them!! (Felt like that needed repeating :) ) They sink immediately, and they do swell up, but don't cloud the water AT ALL! If you have snails.. buy these! I'm sure they are great for shrimp too! They have lots of calcium, which I desperately need because I have soft water (I do dose liquid calcium too though), and my snails have beautiful shells. Will order again when I run out! (But they should last me awhile - even with 200 mystery snails - made the mistake of letting ONE clutch hatch - her first, & only lol) I also feed snail stixx (dennerle), & I make "snail-o" (snail jello) too, along with fresh greens/parsley/veggies.

My neocardinia shrimp love this food & its good for them! We came home to a surprise, baby shrimp fry- we ground this up to powder & fed our babies- all shrimp enjoyed!

This is the single best calcium supplemented food available that you can buy. This is based on the review of every shrimp food out there and the ingredients listed. Nothing is *this good.* Thanks for this Chris Lukhaup. Wish you owned it and got all of the profits because it's wonderful and the passion being creating it is clear.

the shrimp love to eat this food and I hope it really supplies them with everything they need, but the instructions say to remove anything left after 24 hours and I would be 100% happy if there was nothing left BUT after they eat every time, some particles, light in color, something like vermiculite, and the shrimp don't want to eat them, forcing me to clean it up every time)

They really nom down on the mineral flavor, they also really like the protein pellets a lot! They are fairly indifferent of the 'complete' formula, however I'm also fond of this. Sometimes I want them to graze and clean excessive algae, so I'll toss one in, they peck at it, but never swarm it. Complete is also much more stable/dense, it doesn't break apart even after a day, the shrimp have to eat it or it'll sit, this mineral (also the protein) break down into a pile of fluffy pieces that shrimp swarm and pick through and spread a little, if you don't over feed, they don't really make a mess; unlike those pink or green waffers, which turn to a pile of dust and start decaying within hours. I love feeding these shrimp king pellets

You’d swear this is crack for shrimps. It’s their absolute favorite. It keeps them so focused you can really study their genetics, biology, and habits! Dropped a stick in to my newer colony and writhing minutes they all just flocked to it, which let me dissect my colony! Allowed me to find a couple females, because otherwise I wouldn’t study them close enough, so that’s atleast a Worth something, outside of it being shrimp crack

I like all the Shrimp King products. They are a little pricey, but the quality you get and the fact that your shrimp thrive on this and the other products make it worth the price.

I was looking for a food to help with my snails' shells. I've never seen my snails and shrimp this obsessed with a food before! No idea what they put in it but they just pile on it and fight over it. It'll be my staple food from now on.

I couldn't figure why I kept having white ring of death in my shrimp tank until I realized that most fish/invertebrates foods from big buck stores have all the same cheap ingredients, I kept have NeoCaridina dying every single day although they had plenty enough food, since I got those, I drop half a pellet (I have 25 NeoCaridina shrimps) every 2-3 days, they mostly graze on it during the night, I didn't got a single death since then, they make their molts properly, and somehow my honey gourami is pretty fan of it too

Meine Otis sind da auch ganz scharf drauf und fressen das gern. Die Schnecken ebenso, woher auch immer jetzt Posthornschnecken in meinem Aquarium herkommen... aber dank des Sticks hab ich sie entdeckt.

Uso questo mangime da circa un mese per i miei acquari con neocaridine e devo dire che lo adorano. Appena inserito scatta una specie di agitazione con i gamberetti che corrono subito a fiondarsi sui pellet inseriti. Il prodotto ha un odore naturale e non intorbidisce l’acqua anche se qualche piccolo residuo resta un po. Ho notato un miglioramento dei colori dei gamberetti e le mute avvengono con regolarità così come le riproduzioni. I pellet sono forse un po grandi per gli esemplari giovani quindi, se si vuole facilitargli la vita, conviene sbriciolarli un po’.
