This is another great product from Elgato. The clamp is strong, the adjustment is smooth and it looks smart.

This is a great little item. I use my DSLR which I bought for £1k without lens, for zoom calls etc. I have other camera equipment so this became a very expensive webcam. However, I had mounted the DSLR on a tripod on the desk to one side. This was not practical and had issues around knocking the tripod over etc. This small rig item has solved my issue. It’s very sturdy that I have no concerns. Has a ball head on top so I can angle it as needed so it sits behind my monitors. It has extension tubes so you can raise it up high. The clamp mechanism is quite deep so should fit most tables or kitchen worktops.

Would have given this 5 stars except for one flaw: none of the pipe extensions turn - they only go up or down - so if you screw a camera mount to the top and it doesn't line up in the direction you want, you can't turn the pole to adjust. It did come with a decent quality ball mount which gave me more freedom to position the camera, but it added to the height at the lowest setting. Designing it so the pole would turn would've been easiest. That said, it's sturdy, the poles and tightening nuts are well made, and the heights extend to work well for my needs; I use it both for holding a camera and a Røde NT USB mic. Overall, happy with the purchase.

I bought this for making videos at my desktop (talking head films) Really nice bit of kit, steady, stable and easy to use. No wobbling like you may have with other clamps. Thoroughly impressed and a great addition to the filming kit.

I was worried this might be quite wobbly, but it's solid. I love this stand. The twist knob to adjust height feels great and holds it perfectly. It came with a good set of adapters to fit anything onto. I even added SmallRig Magic arm on the side and it's still solid. Good quality feel to this product for a good price.

This product fits onto my desk incredibly well and is in a secure position in no time. It can be adjusted to different heights - though there were no instructions for this (in my case) and I did have some difficulties at first. However, this is a great feature that has since worked very wall for me. It has a ball joint and the top that allows you to point your mounted camera in any direction incredibly effortlessly - and once fastened your camera isn't going anywhere! One thing I have found is that when mounting my camera (canon m50) when its in its smallrig cage, it can be quite challenging to get off! Overall, smallrig are the only ones selling a desk mounted stand as good this - so I highly recommend this product!

Me compré el SmallRig Selection Desktop Mount en Black Friday por 33 euros, y la verdad es que está bastante bien para lo básico. El montaje fue sencillo, aunque me sobró una pieza y no venían instrucciones, pero al final no fue un problema porque lo armé sin complicaciones y funciona perfecto. Lo estoy usando con mi cámara, y me gusta que puedo inclinarla hacia arriba, abajo y de lado a lado sin ningún esfuerzo. Se siente estable, que al final es lo importante, sobre todo por el precio. No es nada del otro mundo, pero cumple de sobra con lo que necesitas si buscas un soporte sencillo y práctico. Eso sí, estaría bien que incluyeran un manual para no quedarte con dudas sobre las piezas. Por 33 euros, no me puedo quejar, hace su trabajo sin más vueltas.
