Oh my gawd! (Eyes roll to back of head) This perfume smells amazing! It's not overly strong, but subtle and yet still noticibly there. I bought vanilla sugarcane, and you definitely smell the sweetness of the sugar cane but it blends beautifully with the mandarin and vanilla flower. Once it starts to warm up in your skin you get these wifs of the warm vanilla. I usually use Pacifica, Island Vanilla, and I've literally been stopped and told I smell like cupcakes when I use it. This is different in a good way. It's more flowery and warm. More ooh la la! Then yummm. As for my sensitive skin, if I apply certain perfumes or scented products (soaps, lotions etc.) I either break out in hives. Or once the product touches my skin I get a slight burning to stinging sensation. This did neither of those. (thank god, cuz I forgot to spot test it.) Now I haven't checked to see how long this product lasts, but so far so good. It just has this warm smell and sensation. I absolutely love it!

It’s definitely more summery than the “pure vanilla” longest lasting fragrance very sweet scent with tanning lotion undertones. I’m not sure how healthy these fragrances actually are since they last for so long and have intense beautiful flavors. Most natural fragrance doesn’t last long and smells more earthy. Wish they had an actual ingredient list!

I’ve ordered the warm sugar and vanilla scent in the roller ball multiple times and loved it so much I went ahead and got the perfume bottle this time! It is not the same scent at all! Kinda disappointed! The smell is ok but it is not the same!

This perfume is perfect for a younger lady/teen or as a layering perfume. I like to layer with Guerlain Iris Torrefie. The notes are mentioned online as sugarcane and mandarin top notes, vanilla flower mid, and bourbon vanilla base. I do agree with the sweetness of the sugarcane and the base of bourbon vanilla, but I have a hard time finding the orange at all (aside from a vague rindy green/bright element which is not easily named and could be sugarcane) and the typical caramel-y “I want to eat that” which I associate with vanilla is absent. The vanilla flower heart is more like a vanilla laundry detergent or vanilla baby powder, NOT an edible vanilla. This vanilla says “I’m a clean girl” not “I’m dessert”. Because of that, though it is very sweet for me it loses the appeal of a typical gourmand. The sugarcane *alcohol* of the medium itself is heady and strong at the outset (may be cloying to some while drying) and dry-down does take quite a bit of time before the initial booziness of the medium wears off (this medium being distinct from the bourbon vanilla base). I would say on my skin, it takes about an hour to fully dry down. The longevity of this scent is wonderful. Scents tend not to last on my skin and since they are toxic I am always sparing, but this one I feel comfortable applying liberally and I still catch it 36 hours later. Silage is there but not really that intense for the amount I spray, and silage is reduced a lot after initial 4-6 hours.

I've been a fan of Lavanila for years, and I'm so glad I took a chance and tried the Vanilla Sugarcane perfume. It's a beautiful scent that wears close to the body, and even though it's very soft it does last. If you like your perfume to announce your arrival, this is not for you. But if you're like me, a fan of soft "skin scents" and delicate vanilla, you will enjoy this. I'm currently using this with the Vanilla Grapefruit deodorant and it works great for just about any occasion. This is one of those scents that can never offend so it's safe for professional occasions too. I would definitely repurchase and recommend!

Smells like alcohol I’ve ordered this before and loved the sent this one I got smells like straight alcohol though and no one will let me return it or get a refund. Awful experience.

I’ve been on the search for a great smelling perfume that is strong enough to last all day, and have a very sweet sugary scent without being too powerful. Even when it warms to your skin, you can get waves of it throughout the day!!! Love! You will not regret! Also, the ingredients are very important to me, and they passed with flying colors!
