Iron Pipe Lamp Socket That fits 1/2 inch Iron Pipe (NPT)

Good product

Great find that addresses a need when using gas pipe in lamps. Attached perfectly to a 1/2" nipple and then to a base. Allows for a seamless and functional connection between pipe and bulb in a secure and safe manner. Purchased 2 more immediately for future use. Highly recommend.

Cool product

Perfect fit for the lights I was making. No more trying to piece stuff together. Well worth the money.

Finish is nice, socket is nice, the 1/2 threads are straight not tapered. So anything off the shelf will thread completely into the back and run into the socket. I had to intentionally smash the threads to get it to tighten while leaving some of the threads on the pipe exposed for the proper look. You could cut some off the nipple and thread it all the way but not what I wanted

Worked out great. Way better than PVC painted like some had suggested. They fit 1/2 pipe perfect. One was broken on delivery but they replaced next day.

I thought the socket was overpriced but if you need it you need it the problem is no competition. Should have come with 12 inches of wire instead of 6 in. Other than that it is a good product. I used it to make a pipe light fixture over the mirror in the bathroom.
