Excellent book by Dr. Charles Stanley. I like the revised updated edition along with the study guide. Great for faith building and your walk with Jesus.

Makes daily bible study easy and takes the guesswork out of which scriptures to read each day. Highly recommend.

The 30 life principles are something EVERYONE SHOULD LIVE BY. I miss Dr Charles Stanley. He was a wonderful mentor to the world. He walked the talk, and did it with grace. Everyone needs someone like Dr Stanley to explain and be an example. God bless and rest his soul.

Good book to read

An excellent book for those who would like to dig a little deeper into the Christian life, and why following the Lord’s direction is so key.

I love Charles Stanley and have recorded his sermons on Saturday nights for years to watch either that night or the next day. I hate to use this word but I’m a “fan” of his! Which is why I hated to leave only 4 stars for this book. I usually find Dr. Stanley sticks to the basic truths of Scripture better than most “preachers” I’ve dared to watch on television. But I was not as taken with some of the principles I read about in this book. It might be that given more time (pages) for each that I could have been convinced of the relevance of that particular principle, but for a few I simply wasn’t convinced that they should be “life principles.” Possibly I just didn’t “get” the relevance of certain chapters for that reason. I do think of Dr. Stanley as a 5-Star Pastor and person!!!

Too often Christians don’t know how to live the Christian life. This study gives great biblical principles that helps us to really live a life that honors God.

Good book

A good resource for the basics growing and deepening Christians' relationship with God. These principles are on the one hand simple but on the other they'll take a lifetime to grow into. I particularly appreciate how each one is illustrated from a range of biblical texts, both Old and New Testament, often fitting them together in ways I hadn't considered. Highly recommended.
